History

Established in 2004.

First store opened in 1991 in Ontario, the owner outgrew that store and moved it to Rancho Cucamonga in 2000, and then opened a second store, Signature 2 in Hesperia in 2004.

Signature 2 Auto Collision is family owned and operated. President/​Owner, Robert Tate has been in the auto body repair industry for over 30 years, starting out as an auto body technician. He eventually opened Signature Auto Collision in Chino in 1991, and moved the shop to Rancho Cucamonga in 1997. Signature Auto Collision operated very successfully until 2008 when the owner chose to sell in order to concentrate on Signature 2 Auto Collision in Hesperia. Now General Manager of both locations, Ryan Wilson started at the Rancho Cucamonga location and moved when Signature 2 was opened and has been running it since its open.

I must say they did a pretty fine job. I tend to ask tons of questions… even the same questions over and over to try and understand… But overall, David Scoobe did a great job with my car! Both him and Shauna (office mgr) had the best patience with me and maintained professionalism throughtout my whole experience. Thank you guys for staying under budget and for the most part, on time. My car looks great and I really am happy with everything. Thanks for your well rounded service!

I went here after my car had a paint spill. The people are great and very informative. They showed nothing but kindness and answered all questions and called with updates. If we called they made time to get to us and let us know what was going on. They didn’t make you feel like an inconvenience or like you were taking time from them.

Great shop with friendly down to earth employees. I come here to avoid driving down the hill to the Volkswagen dealership. They recently helped me with replacing my gas cap which caused my check engine light to come on. Got the part in 1 day, no more light!

Signature 2 Auto is an amazing company who firmly stands behind their work! I took my Dodge Charger to have some paint issues fixed and they did a GREAT job. Most of all Jason is such a great guy to work with! He was always upbeat and very customer focused! You would be a fool to go anywhere else! I will tell everyone I know to take their cars to Signature 2 Auto!!! David was also very great to work with! The whole crew is so friendly and professional! They know how to treat their customers and how to do quality work! go and see for yourself! you wont be dissapointed.

Had some hood damage when someone backed it into my 98 Honda Accord on a recent trip. The insurance company for the at-​fault driver recommended Signature 2.
Jason was a great guy to work with. His crew replaced the hood and blended the paint around the front of the car so well, it made my previous Maaco job have a reason to go back to Sig2 and have the rest of the car done. The front end looks like new and the rest of the car has a fine «orange peel» to it.
The only flaw in the whole job were two hairline scratches on the front and right corners of the «bumper» area. He mentioned that he didnt notice them during QC and he would fix it… I didn’t bother him about any rework — I was too happy about the smoothness of the paint job. Living up in the mountains, that bumper will see enough damage in the upcoming months.

Being an insurance agent and former claims adjuster, I know when a body shop is excellent. This shop is excellent.
It’s where I take my own cars, my mother’s car, my sister’s car…
Also, this is the one shop I send my clients to which speaks volumes as to the level of trust and confidence I have in Signature 2. Ryan, Jason, David and the rest of the folks there do it right, the first time.

I was extremely impressed with the quality of service. We were involved in an auto accident during a trip to southern California, and my car was towed to Signature 2, at my insurance carrier’s request. I live in northern California, so I was not able to visit the location, but the staff spent a great deal of time on the phone with me and thoroughly explained each step of the way. They went out of their way to help me get my car back to northern california in a timely manner. Thank you.
