I don’t even know where to begin. To start off with after sitting in a doctors office for three and a half hours because my son has been sick. My doctor finally sent over a prescription for antibiotics around 2 o’clock this afternoon. At this Walgreens(and about four others) location I had to call because I haven’t heard from them to let me know if the prescription was ready or if they had any problems with it. When I called they informed me that they out of stock. Rather than calling me to inform me that they didn’t have the medication they just let me sit around and wait until I called. When I asked why they couldn’t pick up the phone and inform me that they were out of my sons prescription I was told that the only time they make phone calls as one of prescription is ready. I also had a prescription to pick up my doctor faxed in at 2 p.m. today. I was informed by the pharmacist that he did not see the prescription until it was too late to call and confirm it with the doctor. Again I ask them why can’t they pick up the phone and let the patient know that there was a problem that way the patient could have gotten ahold of the doctor and let them know that there is an issue and to get ahold of the pharmacy, and again I was informed that the only time they will contact the customer is if the prescription is ready not if they were having any issues. In my own opinion this is very poor customer service. I can do without my prescription for day or two, but my son needs his prescription as soon as possible especially tonight. I can go into detail about several other occasions or walgreens has failed to provide decent customer service but I don’t think I have that much room on this page. Needless to say I will be taking my business to another pharmacy down the street. Not another Walgreens. If anyone is local and it’s looking for a better pharmacy to go to other than Walgreens, and that takes all kinds of insurance especially iehp, I highly recommend the Medicine Shoppe on Main Street and 11th. It’s in the same parking lot as wienerschnitzels. Their customer service and service all together is fantastic! I’ve never had to wait over 15 to 20 minutes for a prescription to be ready sometimes even less. Everybody behind the counter really cares about their customers and go above and beyond to help them. Which is far less than what I can say about Walgreens. If I could write Walgreens less than the one I would.

They seem to be trying to get rid of Medicaid customers, or they are just negligent about inventory. They often are out of stock, even on commonly used prescriptions, and the female pharmacy techs are all really rude about it. Corporate is unresponsive to complaints, they email you back and say the right things, but nothing changes.

The young guy that seems like a manager– thinks he knows what he’s talking about… When he doesn’t. Telling me I could not double my coupons, which I wasn’t. Double means doubling the value of the coupon not using 2 coupons for 2 products– dumb!

I was looking for Excedrin migraine and I asked a guy stocking for help, but he said it wasn’t his area because the pharmacy was closed. This is true but come on what about customer service. I found something else and the girls checking me out were sweet as could be.

Surprised when I read the horrible reviews, I do not get prescriptions but, I came in for several photo orders. One picture in particular was suppose to be cropped and changed from horizontal to vertical. They fixed the problem fast and easy, all the guys who helped me were super friendly and nice. I did reduce from 5 stars to 4 because the female manager was kinda of rude and not pleasant. She seemed irritated because I did not bring in my photo envelope.

I am at wits end w/Main and I Walgreens Pharmacy. We are in our 50s. We are fed up w/long waits, «never received«replies, arrogant, sullen attitudes. My Doctors office says they have trouble w/them frequently. Our veterinarian can’t stand calling in a script there, because he says the staff is very unfriendly to him. We are changing pharmacies, and I highly doubt it will be a Walgreens

Hit and miss with this place especially at the pharmacy. Sometimes getting through is a breeze yet other times you can stand 15 minutes just to pick up a script. The line at the front always seems super long and no one seems to be in a hurry to help you. But as far as your cookie cutter pharmacy/drug store goes, this one is about average.
