Once upon a time this use to be the best Chinese buffet spot. Hell my school used to take field trips to this place! But somewhere along the line this place just started going under :/ After years of not coming I decided to check it out since it’s name had changed. I think it changed for the worse. They do Chinese grill on here(similar to china buffet’s Mongolian BBQ) but wow it took like 15 minutes to cook my food! In china buffet it takes 5 minutes max. The food seems about the same as when it was named Hong Kong buffet, and has a good variety of food and very tasty. The service was bad! I was not expecting this! Back when I was a kid the service was really good. However, that was a long time ago and these new waiters are not as nice. We were basically hit with the bill early. Which wasn’t done back in the day. In addition, when I went to tip the waitress she asked for more money because there were a lot of people with me. I was like wtf??? Be happy I’m even tipping you. It gets 2 stars because the inside does look very fancy an pretty just like when I was a kid and brought back a lot of good memories. Also the food was pretty good, but I’ve had better in other Chinese buffet places.

Omg! Disgusting! Hubby and i came here for date night before heading to the movies. we had just finished eating when i notice something in the corner of my eye. And 3 feet away from me is a cockroach crawling on the wall!!! Our waitress comes over after we stood up and backed away and we show her the nasty thing had now crawled from the wall onto our table and her response was«I’m sorry. You want your check now?» Seriously !? Shes lucky i didn’t throw up all over her. Never going to this place again. EVER!

First of all the staff is really rude. She would not let us pick where we wanted to sit. The food looks decent but when you eat it, it is very dry and you can tell it is old. Most of the food was cold. Inside was very old fashioned and dirty. Would not recommend.

This place has been my selected Chinese buffet in Hialeah, however it was better in the past. The food is of good quality, though if you have high expectations when it comes to Chinese food, you will be disappointed. The prices are reasonable based on the service and food given so if you need a fast serving of Chinese then go here but don’t go if you expect more.

Wow, Wow and Wow… This has got to be the most disgusting thing ever. I was at Titos frame shop the other day dropping something off and it started to pour. It was really coming down hard. I walked next door to this Hong Kong Buffet to see about a quick bite. wait out the rain. Well– I walked in, and sure enough there was this girl there CLIPPING her nails on the hostest stand. It was so gross. She was talking to some other asian dude that I assume was the manager and they didnt even pay attention to me. I was really taken back. It was like something out of a movie. Awful… Who cuts their nails in a restaurant. I guess it could have been worse. She could have been cutting her toe nails. I looked at my phone, made a note to self to Unilocal about this, and walked out. The place looked disgusting. Im so happy I didnt eat there. It was pretty gross. Dont go. Someone needs to shut this place down. What was sad was that it was busy. I don’t get it. Wow…
