First time here, and the customer service was very nice and fast service for being 5:00 rush. Great chicken soup and awesome pan con lechon. Great seasoning.

Nice place, definitely has that«cafeteria» feel to it. The prices are very good, I’ve been for breakfast an lunch and never been disappointed. Particularly I love«vaca frita» and for me this is is the best place to have it! I’ve tried it in other cuban restaurants but so far I haven’t found a place that does it better than here! They also have a «jugo de melon»(watermelon juice) which you can’t ever go wrong with! And their cuban coffee is really good. I must warn you, you got to come with an empty stomach as portions are quite«generous». The service is very friendly and I would dare to say that all they serve is like a home cook meal! Which in my opinion is one of the things that make this place so special! And when you go see if they have any avocados on the counter and buy one to take home! You wont be disappointed.

Stay away from the fried chicken special! Smelled like old rotten chicken must be very old oil being used. Black beans were watery. The only good thing was the batido de trigo.

I’ll give them three stars because the service is consistently slow and unfriendly. However, the food is good. They have really good home made croquetas which are a huge and a steal at $ 1 each. If the manager could read this, I’d suggest hiring waitresses who don’t hate their job.

Good cuban food and quick service. Small diner type of restaurant but the food is good.

The service is messy. They take foreverrrrr even for a simple sandwich. But the quality of the food is excellent so I guess it’s just up to the person if they want to wait lol

Here’s your typical Cuban cafeteria in West Hialeah. They have decent lunch specials, including great«potajes,» or bean soups. I especially admire the fact you can order a «cortadito» with evaporated milk at the curbside coffee window or in the restaurant. A must-order. In short, great place to grab a decently priced Cuban meal in a clean, casual setting.

A few weeks prior, I was ready to give this neighborhood spot a solid 3 or 4 stars. Located in Hialeah Gardens’ restaurant row, I enjoyed a delicious chicken breast in a plate that had more chicken than moros. My only knock would have been that the sodas are in cans instead of refillable. As another reviewer noted, service could be slow and friendlier to their regulars even when you sit at the counter cafeteria style. Fast forward to early last week, when I stopped by for dinner for my fat boy status dish of chicken milanese. I specifically asked for light cheese and heavy sauce, and this was the first sign since cheese was as normally is. One bite past the breading and the chicken was actually chewy and a bit cool as in not being properly cooked. The rice was also a little bit sticky, as in seemingly scraped from the pan. To their credit, they did prepare another plate and didn’t charge for it. I didn’t get sick, so that’s why the rating isn’t only one star but don’t believe I’ll be coming back.

Been working here in Hialeah Gardens for last 5 years and this spot has remained consistently good for service and food. Steak sandwich and the cuban sandwich here are both excellent. Croguettas and Café always a plus in the morning.

It’s a little hole in the wall but for me it’s the best Cuban food in town! Super cheap, huge portions, amazing food, good customer service! Sometimes depending on how full it is their service will be slow but the food is always worth the wait and their staff is always friendly! Feel like family there!

Amazing hidden cuban food spot. Prices are low but don’t you think the value goes low too. Because the value is outstanding. The medianoche’s have LAYERS and LAYERS and LAYERS of ham and pork. The hugest croquetas i’ve seen also live here. A few milkshake flavors go for as low as 1.00 $ unbeatable! I also every once in a while stop by for their to go special of grilled chicken($ 4.99). It comes with moro rice and plantains with sauteed onions on top. You have to be a pretty heavy set person to be able to finish it in one round! Great job and keep up the good work Latin Cuban Cafeteria!

I enjoy the food here. We come here often and they have never missed the mark with respect to quality and service. I would give them one more star if the atmosphere didn’t feel so confined(its a small space). I am an American from Ky but my wife says I am Cuban and it shows when I visit this place. Congri, huevo frito y yuca? Que ricccoooo!!!

I only go for the Cuba coffee which sometimes is good and others are ok. The food is really greasy here but the flavors are good. sandwiches are made with hard Cuban bread which I dot think is what the average person would like. They compare it to the old Latin America on 68th st because the owner came from there but it’s not the same. Needs improvement.

Pretty good but not the best. I had a steak sandwich which was giant here. It was thick and had slices of ham inside. It also came with fries on the side. The service was about 5 minutes slower than you’d like. You kinda look for your waiter. & the prices are maybe $ 1 – 2 more than other Latin places around here. Eh. I wouldn’t go back.
