A few years ago I began thinking about pursuing a profession that would allow me to be of service to others. I desired to do something that was more authentic to me, that is to say, utilizes my compassion, empathy, supportive nature, and communications skills. I had been researching a career in life coaching for a couple of years, but it was in the spring of 2013 that I felt a strong urge to begin it. I completed a coach training program and became a credentialed coach in 2014.
