Otherwise, the automatic carwash does a decent job.

Great car wash, does a great job on my mini-​van. Love the cheap drive thru price. Always open. Staff very friendly and always helpful. You can also wash your self if you prefer. Vacuums very good price also.

Awful. They hardly ever take credit cards, ½ or ²⁄₂ automatic washes are always broken down and now they are closed indefinitely. Pretty ridiculous establishment.

Although I usually do it by hand in the privacy of my own home, I come here for the machine when I’m Jones-​ing for a quickie.
$ 5 gets you a basic soapie and for an extra dollar you can get your undercarriage soaked with a pressure washer. Be sure to drive it in slowly to ensure it deeply penetrates the cracks.
Knocking of a star because the credit card machine has been broken for at least the past 8 months. Perhaps that’s a good thing because I suppose most people prefer to pay cash for this type of service. Also wish the hours of operation were longer because sometimes I’d rather get my fender rubbed in the middle of the night.

For $ 8 you can get a fast pretty thorough automatic carwash. The way it is supposed to work is you pull up to the kiosk, select the wash you want, pull into the bay & poof your car will be clean. This wash cleans great! The only drawback is the kiosks credit card machines have been down for months so bring cash. Otherwise a great fast service!

I love this car wash on Hickam than the one posted near the NEX. By far the best one on island I been too! I don’t feel rushed when I washed my Benz here I also dried my car off after washing it in the wash area. Best of all it was cheap! I’m just disappointed because I wasted my $ 1.25 for 5 mins which I didn’t use at all which was my fault because I thought I needed more minutes but didn’t need it after all. I also did the auto wash for my acura. Yes I have two cars and bought it all the way from ewa beach to Hickam which is about 30 – 40 min drive depending on traffic. At the car wash at NEX it’s always busy and when it’s really busy when everyone is going home, you have people stare. I don’t like that at all and I feel the need to rush. Worst of all I have to dry my car in the sun because there’s always someone behind you waiting. Anyway love this place I don’t know why I didn’t go to this car wash since being in hawaii!!! I will continue going here. Did I mention I spent maybe about $ 5 for the self car wash! Love it thanks Hickam!

Not bad for $ 5 – 8. Half the time the credit card reader doesn’t work, but it’s not usually hard to come up with the $ 5 for the wash. Always get a receipt though. If it malfunctions and you didn’t get a receipt, the attendant lady gets mean and yells.

A bit dingy, but you can’t beat the price! I personally love washing my car at places like this, so I was happy to find this one so close to my home. It could be better if it had a huge car dryer machine, so that towels weren’t a must.
The whole place needs a good power washing, and the machines around it need a little servicing. Two dollar change slots available, only one worked, and neither would take my money. Fortunately a kind airman tried one of his dollars and traded me a buck for the quarters when it was accepted.

This car wash has both the drive through car wash and the self serve ones.
I personally like the self serve ones because you can get all the dirty spots that the automatic wash might miss.
Just be sure to have enough coins if you go through the self serve car wash as it is timed. There are change machines on site.
There are also vaccums. The self serve has no dryer, so bring a towel. Even the automatic car wash that has a dryer doesn’t always get all the spots — i.e. mirrors, etc. So a towel is always handy.
The automatic car washes have three different choices — from express wash to the deluxe. Prices range from the cheapest $ 5.00 to $ 8.00. The automatic wash takes exact cash or credit/​debit cards. At the self serve you probably could get away with using $ 3.00 to $ 4.00 if you wash quick, but be prepared to get wet and dirty.
The line gets long during lunch hours. Go early or later.

The auto wash is a great deal and saves on time if you just need a quick wash and dry. There are three options ranging from $ 5 to $ 8.
The $ 8 wash is the only one that has a double pass dry and drive through dry. Even with this it is best to have a micro-​towel handy to touch up missed spots to avoid water spots.
Change, vending and Vacuum machines are also available.

For $ 8 you can get a deluxe wash which includes a wax and double dry in the automatic machine and toss in .75 before your wash, and you can vacuum out your own car saving you $ 50+ for a car detail place.
I was super excited pulling out thinking how spiffy and clean my car would be until I saw that the bird poop was still all over the hood of my car… the rest of the car is super clean so I guess I got my $ 8 worth and will have to do do some manual labor to get the nuclear bird doo doo off!
Definitely worth the savings :)
