Cold Stone Creamery

Ice cream is great but they need to turn their freezers colder. Ice cream was way too soft.

The vanilla ice cream tasted pretty gummy, and it had less flavor. The toppings were just fine, except that the brownies were mushy. There was like only one man that worked there, he was polite and helpful, but the service was slow. It was not my favorite.

I ordered the «Chocolate Decadence,» which is a combination of chocolate ice cream, brownies, and chocolate chips. To kick it up a notch, I selected a chocolate rimmed waffle cone.
The «Gotta Have It» size was so large that I couldn’t eat it all at one sitting.
$ 4.99 — Chocolate Decadence — 3 stars. (Ice cream tasted artificial. Chemical creation.)
$.99 — Chocolate Waffle Cone — 2.5 stars. (Not very good, again, too artificial.)
$ 1.79 — 20 oz. Coca-​Cola. (Ice cold) — 5 stars.
Service — 5 stars.
The young lady who waited on me was very helpful. This was my first visit to a Cold Stone Creamery, and she was really patient with me since I had no idea what I wanted other than something chocolate.
Cleanliness — 3.5 stars.
The front door was dirty, and the table that I sat at was not clean. The floors and the food prep area looked spotless though.
Location
This shop is located besides Valley Hills Mall shopping center in a strip mall. It is on the end next to the Belk parking garage. Wild Wok in on one side and Miele vacuums is on the other side.
Thoughts
I’m not a fan of the Cold Stone creations. The only creation that I like occasionally is a hot fudge sundae. I think the ice cream is much better at Udderly Delicious, with a richer taste and texture — more like homemade.

Stay away! I stood in a line that did not move for 10 minutes. Then the guy behind the counter told the people he was helping it would be really soft the freezer was 39 degrees, sorry that makes it NOT a freezer. Then I noticed the mess on the floor from the yogurt melting. At this point the counter guy started to sing to the people he was helping, that was all it took I walked out.

The ice cream here is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo take-​time-​to-​savor-​it good that when you wake up after the last bite you’ll wonder what happened to it. MAN! I love it!
They have beaucoup de flavors and combinations. They do Ice Cream Cake, too!
