a total rip off scam business go in to get oil changed they bring a list of problems that are in desperate need of repair adding up to over $ 450 half of which i have recently had done so i paid no attention to the list and just got my oil change and on my way, but not so fast on my way my car seams to be cutting off every time i stop go to my moms and so happens she went and got her oil changed earlier that morning and ended up costing her over $ 300 before she left they gave her the same list of problems that i had and the list was word for word the same problems but her being 84 years old they gave here a high presure sales pitch, told here she had to have the back breaks fixed or they had to wright her up for improper equipment so not knowing better she had it done when i went to here house and she told me i compared our list of problems and it was match on every problem so mi went back up there and told them about it and they had no concern except when i told them my car was now acting up cutting off they tried to go out and rais hood said they would look and see if if could see problem i would not let them look and they insisted i still did not let them come to find out was a hose unconnected to breather guess they thought they would create a problem and i would come back to have a fabricated problem they set up and get them to repair it so i will never go back and i would advise anyone and there older mothers or fathers to be ware and stay way far away from there nothing but precision scam from what i can see

Came by to get my brakes checked and maybe serviced. A man took my information, said it would be a 20 – 30 minute wait, I agreed. It turned into almost an hour. I realized it was getting much later, and when I got up out of my seat in the waiting area, I noticed most of the mechanics were doing absolutely nothing! I told the man I had to leave and finally he tells a mechanic to look at my brakes! The guy goes outside, looks through the wheels and comes back inside and quotes me some off the wall price for cheap brakes! And when I ask if they were ceramic, because the price he came up with… damn well should’ve been! He goes up on the price again! I got the hell out of there, and I will never go back!

The kind of place you dearly hope your mother, sister, daughter doesn’t find. They prey on customer ignorance rather than hold themselves accountable for doing the right the first time.

I am really not one to put a business on blast online for terrible service, but because of the negligence at Precision Tune in Hickory on Hwy 70 I, my brother, and anyone in our path could have been killed when my car wouldn’t stop because the Cruise Control wouldn’t disengage after being repaired there. The brakes only slowed the car down a little and then it would continue to accelerate. Pumping and pushing hard on the brake pedal got it down to ~30 mph and I pulled it into Neutral and killed the ignition to make it stop moving.
Then that night the temp and oil lights came on while driving on 485 and the car would not start back after pulling over. We had to wait for almost 3 hours to be towed from Charlotte back to Precision Tune in Hickory and they are saying all of this is because the oil was 2.5 qts low, which they are trying to blame me for, but being that low doesn’t completely lock up the engine and it wasn’t low before I took it in to them and there were no oil leaks noted during the repair. On 7÷10÷15, they told me they had to pull the motor out to replace the motor mounts and charged me 10 hours of labor to do so. I went in for a $ 1,200 repair on motor mounts and steering rack and ended up paying them $ 1,940.13 to do this repair plus the serpentine belt that they called and told me needed to be replaced as well. Now they are saying the motor was NEVER pulled and therefore they never messed with the oil or any of the fluids. Then they said the job REQUIRED the motor to be pulled, but they didn’t pull it out so they could save an hour and a half of labor. So obviously William at Precision Tune cannot keep his story straight and does not want to admit any fault that his technicians could have completely ruined my engine and or gotten me killed with their negligence.
I am beyond livid at this point. I will never take my car back to this place and suggest that no one else does either. They want your money and they do not care if you are safe after they have taken your money.

Terrible. A bunch of crooks trying to get money out of you. Was having some car problems after letting them change my oil, come to fin d out it was bone dry with nothing in it, and tried to blame it on me for not checking my vehicle. Come to find out it happened to two other co workers of mine as well, so DO NOT go here! Worth paying more to trust your car won’t be blown up, and telling you things are wrong with your car after this, all because of them, and blowing out of proportion to get more money. TERRIBLE.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT GO HERE! I wouldnt let them change the oil in my deep fryer! I made the mistake of letting them service my durango. Never again! First they killed my battery, then acted like I was bothering them when I asked them to jump it off. Then they put to much oil in and it made it smoke like crazy. The price wasnt what they said it would be. Not by a long shot, then they made ME walk across the street to get change because they didnt have enough. This place sucks on the very highest level. If you need an oil change just go a few more miles down to the pit crew near lowes.
