My family and i have been a customer for the past 5 years. Reasonable pricing, the owner and the workers take great care for their customers. Although we live in queens, we always come here for a haircut when we are in the neighborhood.

Always satisfied with the results. I asked the stylist(Julie) to cut my bangs, and i love what she has done with them. I was specific with what i wanted, so she took her time to understand what i was asking for, and she proceeded very deliberately. Don’t go and expect to look fabulous without knowing what you want. You should be very clear with how you want your look. I explained what i want, and she did a phenomenal job. Love the bangs, and love my new hair color.

It really depends on which stylist you get. I guess I’ve been lucky previously. However, yesterday’s trim was terrible. One of the worst haircuts ever. The woman didn’t have her own hair ‘neat’. Should have been a sign. She ‘cut’ my hair straight across. No style, to layering. Didn’t even check for evenness. I have straight hair, usually the stylist will lift some hairs and trim at an angle. Not this time. Resulting in the tips of hair sticking straight out. She also burnt my hair while blow drying. Really?! She tried to push coloring, was disappointed when I refused. $ 30 for a hair cut that took literally 5 mins. I found a few uncut strands, 3″ difference. My bangs were unevenly slanted. Really?! I didn’t want to complain then, who knows how other ways she could have blotched my hair. Every time I go, there’s someone new. Advice: find out the name of a good hair stylist. Stay away from someone that may be sporting a grunge look!

Every time I come here, I am disappointed. I have medium length hair and always ask for simple trims with layers, and the lady always makes my hair look awkward by either adding too many layers or not enough layers. One time I found out that my hair was pretty uneven on both sides, but she hid it by flat ironing my hair after she finished cutting. It’s like she doesn’t pay enough attention to anyone because she’s always going to multiple customers at once. Today was the final straw though, because she left my hair half-finished, told someone else to dry and straighten my hair, and went to another customer. I came here because it’s close to home and it’s pretty cheap, but after today, I’ll have to go out to Bayside and pay more at other salons because those hairdressers actually know how to cut hair. I gave it two stars because they actually do really nice jobs with men’s haircuts. Edit on March 12: went from two stars to one because after I wrote this review, my dad got a haircut from this place, but it looked like literal crap. Everything was uneven and patchy, it looked like an amateur cut his hair. Update on my hair: to no surprise, my hair is uneven everywhere and my bangs are a total wreck. These people are a joke– they know they’re the only Asian hair salon in this neighborhood, so they get too complacent and lazy with their customers.

I come here periodically for my haircuts. I would recommend this place. The stylists are nice and they cut my hair exactly how I tell them to. My last hair cut only took 20 – 25 minutes(I asked for a straight cut). I’ve paid between $ 30 – 35. I always get the appointment that I want, even if I called the same day.

Came here 3 years ago and they were fantastic. Recently had another wedding to attend and I wanted my hair done without breaking the bank. I grew up on LI and basic curls can cost an arm and a leg so I figured why not come back here. I’m glad I did. The lady who did my hair was fast and efficient. I saved $ 25 coming here instead of going to a salon 5 minutes away. I’ll be back when I have another formal function to attend.

They relocated across the street to this new location right next to the H&Y Supermarket. This has been my go to place for the past 10+ years whenever I’m home. In fact, it’s one of the only legitimate asian hair salons in the area unless you want to make a trip to Queens. Men’s hair cut: $ 20(I usually add a $ 5 tip) They accept walk-ins which I frequently do but I end up waiting 15−30minutes. If you’re a female, you should probably make an appointment first.
