This place used to be amazing. Their meats were tender and so juicy, everything was top notch good. Although expensive, it was worth it. Now with the new owners, they completely turned it into another highland falls fast food. They don’t cook anymore, rather use premade meats for brisket sandwich and so on. This is very disappointing considering how good it was before. Not to mention the prices are the same still! I guess the new owners put cheaper meats in order to get more profit. I wish the old owners came back…

The good: (1) Owner has a tremendous amount of pride in his food and presentation. (2) Gator tacos=Awesome. The food is good… especially for Highland Falls. (3) Burgers are great and rib sandwiches are also amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for that«lunch spot». The bad: (1) Girl at the front constantly looks like she has better things to do with her time. I hope the owner fixes this because poor service wont go very far with West Point faculty and staff. The townies may know her and put up with it, but WP has other options. (2) Owners hands are FILTHY. Despite how delicious our food was, watching him make our sandwich with grime and dirt under his nails made us a little hesitant at first. (3) Owner need to be more inviting.

Ordered from West Wing for an informal luncheon once and now we have informal luncheons once a month from here. Ordered several different entre’s but the wings are to die for. My guys are liking the gator po boy too…

Best wings for miles! Have ordered from them 3 times and have never been disappointed. The wings are large and flavorful and the sauces are all delicious(I recommend the orange chipotle!) if you’re ordering pizza from anywhere in the highland falls area, its worth the extra time to get the wings separately from West Wing.

I have ordered from this place 3 times and each time given great food! As a local, I really appreciate a place with tasty, high quality food. I have always been greeted and had good service. While the food is delicious I wish the portion sizes were slightly larger. The brisket meal only had about a cups worth of meat. The gator poboy was accuracy priced for the quantity given. I recommend this place all the time! Keep up the good work.

The owner and the staff working there were incredibly generous! Super nice and checked on us at least twice brining us extra items at our table. The food was absolutely amazing! It’s hard to find good BBQ around here but they somehow managed to merge good ol BBQ cooking and American food. I don’t remember the name of it but it was a burger with pulled pork on it and it blew me away! Friendly staff, great food!

This delicious masterpiece of a hide away wing place was recommended to us by the owner of barnstormers. A known bbqer in the area. We sampled five flavours of. wings, and can testify that they ask have that fresh made taste. I had teriyaki and dry cajon rub, both presented with that home made taste not often find at the big name wing giant. These gents are wizards of. the wing. As for the aforementioned bad attitudes, no one presented anything less than a normal new York attitude. This Midwesterner was pleased with how we were treated. Good place to eat for those looking for a great taste to cost ratio. Those people across the river with better tastes would even be pleased

Quality of food and attitude of employees changes like people change their clothes. Last week we first tried this new place and the food was quite good, but the lady taking the order had a very unpleasant attitude. Over the weekend I attempted to make an order for delivery, since they offer free delivery on their menu, but none of the numbers seemed to work; first attempt it sounded as if someone picked up and then hung up right away, the other attempts were met with busy tones and then a Verizon voice mail message. Tonight’s visit was completely the opposite; my wife visited West Wing and ordered two orders of the boneless wings(1 order BBQ, 1plain) and one order of 15 «party size» chicken wings covered in Parmesan Garlic butter, was met with a poor attitude from the same girl/woman. She purchased the food today(14May2014) at about 4:30pm, she left and was home by 4:45pm. We served our kids there food, and then we spilt the 14 piece wings(shorted 1wing). We could already see that the wings were over cooked, I bit into one of the wings and the meat inside was brownish in color and as crispy as the skin. My wife bit into one and it was very dry and over cooked as well. She then stated that she wanted to let«Nick» the owner know, since we supported him when he ran a Bistro on West Point. She attempted to call the numbers listed on the menu and none of them worked; she then drove back to West Wing, once inside she was asked by the girl«what do you need?» with attitude again, my wife explained that the wings were over cooked and un-edible. The girl then called for Nick, who came to the window with extreme attitude saying«Well what do you want me to do!» very loud, and causing the other customers to start stare. My wife then attempted to explain that she just wanted to bring it to his attention(usually the customer is right); Nick then in a loud voice said«What, do you want me to give you a refund or something, or maybe cook you some more wings!», «you were in here over an hour ago, food if it sits for an hour turns like that, if you would have ate them here they would have been good!»; he continued and again in a loud tone and belittling demeanor«What you want me to cook you some more wings for free!». My wife stated no, and left him the remaining 12 chicken wings and left the establishment. To me, I could say maybe he was having a bad day, and to others that have had different experiences or know Nick may say different; but if I was running a business I would make sure that the customer is always right, would make sure that my phone service was correctly working, especially if I was offering a delivery service; Nick’s explanation was that they sent the check into Verizon(possibly bounced check). I would also not try to cause a scene myself when it’s my service and product are at fault. Will never visit this establishment again or recommend it to anyone, except to stay away. If I want over cooked wings again I’ll just have my son throw some in a pan of oil; he did have a teen back in the kitchen as the cook this time around too.
