History

Established in 2011.

Our business is a story starting in 1953 and ends today with five clinics one of which serves as mobile visiting eye clinic. The beginning was with Dr. Les West (start 1953) and Dr. Ed Friedman (1969). In 1999 Dr Steve Figler and Dr. Brian Kane started to practice together and eventually formed Kane and Figler Optometry whicle still managing and providing services at Broadway Optical, Family EyeCare Clinic and FEC Mobie Eye Clinic.

After practicing in NE Ohio for seventeen years Dr. Kane has provided over 50,000 eye exams to our community. He enjoys volunteering and helping his community. Today he helps managing four professional Optometry offices while seeing patients most days in a week. His philosophy is to exceed his patient’s visual needs and wants.
