Uniforms Direct

Closed! Darn, this was a great place to buy nursing uniforms. It apparently closed about 3 years ago. I am going to miss this place… great location — right down from NKU and on the bus route, too.

Unpleasant experience all around. From manuevering around the postage-​stamp sized parking lot, to dealing with snotty attitude employees, to the super-​cramped layout of the store.
I was required to buy my nursing school scrubs here, so off I went. I drove right past it at first and had to turn around. The parking lot is more just a gap between the store and the street, and can hold maybe 4 cars max. Otherwise I guess you’d have to park on the nearby side street.
I came in and explained what I needed. The woman behind the counter got all huffy and said that they already placed the school’s order so I might not get mine back in time. Ok, on the info sheet from them there wasn’t anything about a deadline, and I know I’m not the only procrastinator out there, so that would’ve been helpful to know. She went through the rest of the transaction giving off the «I’d rather be doing anything else» vibe. I asked most of my classmates later and most said they got the same treatment.
They didn’t even have all the supplies I needed in stock. I went to Life Uniform in Florence to get the rest, and it was a complete 180. Ample parking, well-​organized store, and helpful friendly customer service. They even offer a student discount and a rewards program. In contrast, all Uniforms Direct will give you is a headache.
