I have been teaching guitar for the past 15 years. My approach to lessons is to combine what the student needs to know with what the student wants to learn. My areas of expertise include composition, music theory, rock, metal, blues, pop, folk, and funk.

Business Owner

I started playing the guitar at the age 14. My cousin played guitar and gave me one of his old guitars to start out on. After a couple months, I was hooked. I took lessons for a few months from local jazz guitar legend Jerry Topinka at Freehold Music. After learning the basics, I primarily taught myself from that point on, learning everything from Queen, Van Halen, Metallica, to The Beatles, Mozart, and Beethoven.

Lessons

Performance

Since 1998, I have performed all over the East Coast, from Massachusetts to Key West, with several highly regarded Jersey Shore cover bands, including Pezhead and The High Five. A founding member of Pezhead, I appeared on 3 episodes of the VH1 battle of the bands show Cover Wars.
