Established in 1982.

Multi-​generational Dental Family begins with Grandfather, Dr. Myron Lifschultz (Chicago Dental School 1917) practiced General Dentistry in Chicago for 57 years.

Father, Dr. Sherman Lipton (University of Illinois 1944) practiced General Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois and Gary and Highland Indiana for 43 years.

Son, Dr. James M. Lipton (Indiana University School of Dentistry 1982), General Dentistry Highland Indiana.

Business Owner

Dr. Lipton attended Indiana University for his undergraduate studies, and graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1982 wherein he became the third generation of dentists in his family. He joined his father’s practice of dentistry until his father’s retirement in 1986 at which time he moved his current practice to Highland Indiana. Since that time Dr. Lipton has been the Medical Director of three separate hospitals dental programs treating the most medically challenged and severely apprehensive dental patients, and currently is on staff at four hospitals. In 1989, Dr. Lipton’s hospital dental facility was named «one of the most prominent hospital dental programs in the country» by The Journal of The American Dental Association.
