Janette and Sons Excavating LLC. is a family owned and operated business. We began business in 1952 and are going on three generations today. We have grown significantly in terms of the services we offer and our abilities as a company

In the late 70’s we began offering residential excavating services. This included digging basements for residential homes and the final grading of residential properties. Along with introducing the new division of residential excavating, we also continued installing septic fields for homeowners.

By the end of the 1980’s we had branched out to another new division of offering commercial excavating.

Today we continue to offer all of these services and more. Our experience in the residential and commercial excavating industry, along with our experience in septic installations have made us experts in these industries today. We’re proud to offer this expertise along with the innovation of our industry to our commercial and residential customers.

Business Owner

Frank Janette established the family business as an installer and manufacturer of septic tanks. Soon after opening his doors he had become one of the largest installers and manufacturers of septic tanks in the area. It did not take long before the company he created started growing in many ways.
