The UPS Store

I have been doing business with this Ups store for around 11 years. Chip, Heidi, and Aloni are always helpful, and very friendly. I highly recommend this store. As for people that leave negative reviews such as Alex… I have no comment. Maybe he would change his tune if he tried doing their job…

I go in at least twice a week. The girls that work there are sweet and always treat me well. Some of the bad reviews may be from those that had a bad experience one time from one trip. Shipping prices are high, it’s not the employees fault. I’ll keep doing business here as long as they treat me like they always do.

I don’t see why there are so many 1 star reviews about this place, every time I have came (which I do a lot) the girls there Aloni, Monika, and Heidi have been nothing but nice to me, in fact they have gone out of there way to provide the best level of customer service, people who put the 1 star reviews are just not knowledgeable enough to comprehend a store needs to make money all in all I would give this a 10 star if that was an option for the great level of customer service and overall satisfaction.

Wow rudest experinence I have ever had. Tried to return my att modem. Was told in a email that I just need to bring it in to ups store and it would be scanned and packed up for me. Women behind the counter was very rude pushed the unit back at me and said I need an account number. I tried to show her the email she called me a cow and told e to leave.

The girls in the store were not helpful at all. They gave me the wrong information about a return and then when I asked if they could print me label, they wanted to charge me $ 3 for me to use their computer. Decided to go to the Big Bear UPS store. The man was very nice. No extra charges.

I don’t ship things and had no idea what to do, the girls at the counter were very helpful both times I went in recently. Excellent customer service here.

$ 1 for 2 pieces of tape, no thanks. This is a ridiculous thing to charge for. Even though it location is convenient, I’d rather go out of my way to another UPS shipping locale.

Received the WORST service here today, Aloni was downright rude, and i let her know and she didn’t bat an eye at it, Heidi is always nice, however today she could have at least apologized for the HORRIBLE service i received, i will never go back, its not what you say, its how you say it!

Wow!!! What a SCAM this place is!!! Whats funny is I even gave them a 2^nd chance and they still schisted me!!!
I own an online store whereby I ship items. .
The first encounter I needed to pack and mail 3 small glass jars… like boot-​box size. They gave me a reasonable quote. .then proceeded afterward to pack in a box wayyyy bigger than necessary. …after it was packed by them they tell me its not gonna be $ 30 to ship, its gonna be $ 80!!! Because they had already packed it I felt I had no choice but to pay… I did… left in tears.
Stupidly I returned with a mirror I needed to have packed and shipped. This time I asked for a close estimate. I had weighed and measured myself. Lady quoted $ 30 to pack and $ 45 to ship… it took them over 45min to pack it. When I went to pay they said it would now suddenly be $ 40 for packing and $ 120 to ship!!! W… t…f??? How do u F-​up a quote THAT BAD??? SHE SNOTTILY SAYS «I TOLD U IT WAS AN ESTIMATE!!» Im like dude an estimate is meant to be close… not ¹⁄₃ of actual cost!
It was then I knew their scam… pack it… then hike price bc the customer will have no choice! !!
Not this time UPS Highland!!! I grabbed it and threw it in my suburban and bailed!!!
Absolutely WRETCHED business. …rude, trashy… especially that older lady!!!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND REDLANDS USPS however! I took box there… they said that the ginormous box ups highland packed it in was unecessary and that they clearly did it to push the size into the «oversized» shipping category thereby tripling the price… redlands usps helped me repack and cut box down FREE and ship for a reasonable price.
Highland ups has lost alotta money by treating me like sh! t …I ship over 30 items a WEEK! But with their service ill send my boxes via messenger pigeon before I go there again!!!

Wow, this place takes poor customer service to a whole new level. I’ve had my fair share of experience with bad customer service, but this one wins the price as it had me fleeing the store close to tears.
I urge you to take your business elsewhere.
A few weeks ago we had opened a mailbox account, only to discover that the key that was provided to us did not work. When I came to the store to ask for a new key I waited for about 20 minutes while the attendant addressed the needs of another customer. When it was my turn, she told me that she didn’t have time to make a new key right now. She asked me to go in back of the line because she wanted to serve all the other customers in line first. The line behind me suggested another 20 minute wait. When I requested that she serve me as it was my turn, the attendant just lost it. She had an outburst of sarcasm and anger and was belittling and humiliating me in front of a store full of customers. This is unacceptable. There are more appropriate ways to address customers.
I’ve addressed the issue with headquarters and am curious what kind of response I’ll receive. I certainly will pursue a follow-​up to this incident.

My wife attempted to send a package to a business in Carmel we have sent others packages to via Fed Ex with no problem. On this day we decided to patronize the UPS store in our hometown of Highland instead of giving our business to Redlands, bad idea. The self appointed manager, who obviously could care less if this business goes broke, was rude, useless, and a classic example of someone who has no clue of the importance of good customer service. After a sarcastic «have a nice day» remark to my wife, she left the sore, drove to Redlands, and had Fed Ex deliver the package with absolutely no problem.
Attention UPS Store owner: when you go Bankrupt, don’t look around and blame the Economy or other factors, it will be because of how you run your business.

I’m not sure why this place has such a low rating. The employees have always been extremely nice to me and service has been good.
My family had a bit of an emergency that required us to travel to Mexico right away. The problem was that my sister was studying in Philadelphia and we were in possession of her passport. When we went to UPS to overnight on a Saturday, we were initially told that it was too late to send it out that day. So we’d have to wait until Monday to send it out. After being also turned away by Fedex, we were very disappointed and left with no options. But when my dad was about to leave and try another shipping center, the UPS people chased after us and said that bc it was a family emergency, they’d ask the UPS truck driver to turn back to pick up the passport.
They completely saved us and my sister got her passport early on Monday. I’ll always be a faithful customer.

Went in to buy one stamp for a letter. What a surprise when the employee told me owed $.68 for a $.49 stamp. Asked her why the letter was so much and told me they have a service charge. For a stamp! So if they increase a stamp by 40% what do they do for a real package.
Find another place to send a package since has to be less than 40% markup

My visit seemed fine until I found out that my urgent overnight package wasn’t delivered because the address was incorrect. The clerk behind the counter had interpreted an ‘S’ as a ‘5’. I didn’t catch this until afterwards. The clerk taking my complaint by phone was rude, had difficulty getting my information correct (missed numbers and letters three times), and basically said it was all my fault for not catching their mistake. To be honest, I assumed that because this was UPS (have learned it is not) they were rigorously professional and merely glanced at my receipt at the time of receiving it. Of course the manager had left early for the day and would take two to three weeks to handle this matter. If I must ship freight in the future I will deal only with the actual UPS facility, otherwise for paperwork I will head for Federal Express.

Please avoid and go to the USPS… this place has horrible customer service… they are rude and belittle each other in front of customers…

I was told by AT&T U-​verse to return my T.V. equipment to any UPS Store. They explained they have a contract with UPS to package the equipment and mail it back to them. I assume the UPS Store makes a profit from AT&T for this service. I walked into the Highland UPS Store today at 9:00 a.m. to complete this task. There was one other customer in the store and the lady behind the counter acted exasperated and put off by even speaking to me. She said there is an hour and a half wait and took all of my information. She told me she would call me later with a tracking number and sent me on my way without even a receipt to show what equipment was being received by them. I get a call later by a different employee that sounding much younger, but had the same horrible attitude. She read the UPS tracking number to me so fast I only copied about half of the 17 characters and had to ask for her to repeat it. She took a heavy sigh and begrudgingly did so. I input the information she gave me and yep, you guessed it, it was wrong. I call this lovely customer service friendly employee back and she was just as rude as before. I asked if she could just run the receipt through her fax machine, so I can have a copy of the receipt. Remember, they were the ones backed up this morning, so they are going to inconvenience me to drive back down for a receipt. She said that she cannot fax it without charging me. No paper/​ink/​toner on their end, just a 30 second local call. Nope, she re-​reads the tracking number and again the UPS tracking page said that it does not fit the protocol for UPS tracking numbers. Absolutely horrible customer service from this franchised UPS Store. AT&T needs to send their business elsewhere.
