We are martial arts studio specializing in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, and BJJ. Our programs are designed to have something for everyone; little kickers for the 4 – 6 year old, mixed family classes, so everyone can get in on the action and tournament training for those who want to take it to the next level, just to name a few.

History

Established in 1995.

Treger Studio of Martial Arts began offering classes at the current Highland MI locaion in the fall of 2006 at the Milford YMCA. In Spring of 2007 we moved to our current location at 1444 S. Milford Rd, in Highland Twp where we have continued to grow and train. We are an AAU Junior Olympic Training facility.

Master Treger is a 5^th degree black belt with over 35 years of both martial arts and teaching experience. His life long love of Tae Kwon Do and Aikido began simply because he wanted a sport to fit in the off seasons for football and lacrosse. His instruction began under Master Dale Tompkins where he received a solid foundation in Tang Soo Do, but it was the late Grand Master Ki Whang Kim that nurtured his competitive spirit and started him on a life time martial arts journey. With a style that combines both the traditional and practical sides of the martial arts, Master Treger is able to engage both youth and adult students to make their experience within the studio both educational and fun.
