This bagel store probably is the worst run bagel store in the state. Always has been! Today was the topper. The assistant manager was complaining that two people called in sick. I only needed a half a dozen bagels. The woman asked me if I would like them sliced? I said you’re busy it’s okay no need to slice them. She told me I pay at the other end. I proceeded to the register where the gentleman told me to wait. Another guy walked in he helped the guy who got a dozen sliced bagels! He picked out all of his bagels sliced them for him handed them back to him then came to help me at the register. I go there cause it’s convenient. But every time I have the same experience! Hopefully one day they’ll get their shit together and I can change my review?!

This is the worst experience today. Out of half the bagels, no chicken salad(too busy to make it last night). All the tables are dirty. We asked if they would clean one, but since there are four customers in the whole place they are just too busy. Wow… Really…

Earlier reviews are accurate. Horribly slow and understaffed. You never see the same employees more than a couple of weeks. Generally out of most types of bagels after 9am. I have not seen who I would consider a manager in months. I wonder about the cleanliness as there is food all over the floor and counters. Made my last stop today. The Einstein’s on Yosemite at Arapahoe is a killer and much, much better.

They are quick, even if the line is long. Very friendly and appreciative for their customers. Also, the food is great quality. They will customize your food however you wish, and they greet you with a smile and leave you with a «thank you!».

Bagels are good but they are always under staffed. You would think the cost of adding 1 staff would be covered by the people that see the line and are walking out.

I pick up bagels and coffee most Thursday mornings. I call 30 minutes prior and when I walk in I am greeted by name and they have my order ready. Great service and I will keep coming back. Thank you

My husband got me a lox bagel. They forgot to put cream cheese. I drove all the way back with my two kids under 4, got everybody out of the car, and it took them almost 10 minutes to help me. Even the manager was there, looked at me several times, I tried to pipe up that I needed a little help, and she walked into the back instead of helping me. I was smiling and friendly. A clearly disgruntled employee snatched my bagel, slapped some cream cheese on it, and threw it back in its box. It now has bits of all sorts of other bagels and toppings in it, stuff that doesn’t belong on my bagel. Gross! Not a single person smiled, said hello, or apologized for the oversight. Not sure if it was just a bad day there or if there’s a bigger problem. Whatever the case, I doubt I’ll go back anytime soon. Sloppy and unfriendly.

I ventured in on a busy 4th of July. They took my order and I was out within 5 minutes. We had a cinnamon raisin and whole wheat bagel With cream cheese. The bagel was fresh and toasted just right. I would definitely try them again. I also had a fresh fruit cup which was cold and had a variety of fruits.

In einsteins on Broadway in highlands ranch. not many people here, 6 people behind the counter, and have been waiting 20 minutes for 2 bagels w/cream cheese. ridiculous!!! They have to do much, much better than this serving customers. they almost have more people behind the counter than they do customers waiting. and let’s hope they get the order right(this time), and don’t run out of bagels, like they usually do by 10 am. Einsteins needs to fix this!

Went in at 10:45. Most bagels were gone, the tables were all dirty, there was garbage on the floor and even though it was freezing outside they had the air conditioner on. People were zipped up in their winter coats inside! One of our breakfast sandwiches was forgotten and the rest of our party was done eating before this sandwich came out. Asked them to wipe a table off so we could sit down and they did it with a dirty cloth and left the table soaking wet. Terrible.

WOW, these bagels were DELICIOUS. I was visiting some friends in Denver and they bought a box of these one morning and I could not get over how heavenly they were. WOW. WOWWOWWOW. Wait, one last WOW.

I don’t know if my review is going to be helpful or not. I rated it 3 stars because of how long it continually takes for me to get my stuff for the office I work at. Einstein Bagels are great, and that is why I go there, but they are constantly slammed during their rush hour in the morning. I feel as if they need more people working there. The people are great, but it is slow. Perhaps I could go earlier to solve it.

Went there this morning with my 5 year old daughter… ordered bagels with cream cheese. While i waited ALMOST20MINUTES I witnessed the workers there yelling at and arguing with customers. After 15 minutes my little daughter and I went up to the counter and asked them if they could try to hurry since I was now running close to being late to work and the worker started yelling at me and my daughter. When i backed away from the counter he started talking trash about me and I could hear him. I yelled out that I had never been treated so poorly in all my life and the manger heard and did nothing. It was UNBELIEVABLE!

Been to this Einstein’s on a few occasions since it is convenient to our house always hoping the experience will some how be better. It never is. The staff is poorly trained and worse yet they have a terrible attitude. Tried to order a Baker’s Dozen, sliced. The girl taking the order was rude and didn’t know what she was doing. When I saw the price she rang up I asked her if that was a Baker’s Dozen and she said ask the people at the end for she didn’t know. The bagels I ordered weren’t the correct ones for the person at the end said by the time they filled my order the ones I ordered were gone. Huh? Didn’t the girl placing the order know if she sold them yet or not? Of course the price was wrong and the girl at the register checking me out half-heartedly told the girl who was taking the orders what a Bakers Dozen was. She wasn’t even paying attention so it didn’t even register. Bagels weren’t sliced either so had to have that redone. To be frank I’m done with this store. The service is pathetic and has been since we’ve been going there which is now for around two months. The store is dirty and people act like they don’t care for the store is always busy since it is in the heart of Highlands Ranch. Maybe they can be that way but I’m done. Absolutely horrible!

i love bagels, and einstein’s is the closest bagel place to home, so i pop in here every so often to get my fix. It’s ok. It’s not bad, it’s not fantastic, it’s just ok. their bagels are always fresh, the schmears are delish, the bagel sandwiches are made relatively quickly, but the lattes take foreEVER! i usually get my bagel to go, so if i order a latte too my bagel is cold by the time the latte is ready. i guess it could be worse, it’s just kinda annoying. i know it’s not a coffee shop, it’s a bagel shop that serves fancy coffee as well, but it’s still annoying. usually bagel shops are near coffee shops but this one isn’t. anyway, the bagels are good, just know that the lattes take a while, so plan accordingly

I went to Einsteins in Highlands Ranch this morning for breakfast for both my boyfriend and I. While we wanted food, most importantly, I wanted a latte. When I ordered our breakfast, the assistant manager who took my order tried to talk me out of ordering a latte because they were short staffed. I told him that I really wanted one and he said it would take a while for me to get it. Fine — I wanted a latte and would wait, so I paid. After I got our food I sat down and waited for ~15 minutes. An extra employee came in and the assistant manager kept helping other costumers and never asked anyone to help him prepare my latte. Eventually I went to the counter and requested a refund, which he happily gave and never apologized for not making my latte. Clearly, that was always his intent — he never planned to actually make it and I now never plan to go to this Einsteins again. While I understand the stress of being under-staffed and busy, I do not understand why he couldn’t step away from the register for the minute or two it takes to make a latte. I find it incredible that he would try to talk me out of ordering what I went to Einsteins to buy and that when I made it clear to him how much I wanted a latte that he would not figure out a way to serve me, his customer. Horrible service.

If I have time, I’ll run into Einstein’s before work in the mornings. I usually keep my order simple: a toasted sesame bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Simple, right? They sometimes find a way to mess it up. Either it’s over toasted or not toasted at all. Yeah, I know… I sound like the freaking Three Bears(my bagel’s too hot… my bagel’s too cold…). They’re friendly enough. They always screw up my name when they type it into the computer, but I actually find this comical. The last time I went in there, the guy called me «Shane». Yeah, dude, that sounds exactly like«Cherie»(pronounced Sher-ee). Whatevs. In his defense, I think he was high.

Einstein’s makes me sad. I think I’m picking something relatively healthy off their menu and then I go online(after scarfing down my meal) to find that I spent almost half my daily calorie allowance on one meal. I hate it when that happens. I’ve been to this location lots of times, usually for a late breakfast on the weekends. Often, the line is crazy long, but moves pretty quickly. Often, the people working here are grumpy and don’t try to hide it. Often, the changes to their menu upset me. I used to get their nova lox for breakfast. It was a bagel, with plain shmear, salmon, tomato, red onion(and no capers, please). Now they only have it for breakfast with an egg added to that OR for lunch withouth the egg and you HAVE to get a side for nearly $ 1.50 more. I’ve tried to explain that I don’t want a side with my breakfast nor do I want an egg with my nova lox and they say, «that’s fine, but we still have to charge you for it.» I don’t like it when places aren’t willing to adapt to their customers. So today I stopped in for lunch and got a Chipotle Turkey Wrap. Sounds relatively healthy, right? A wrap, turkey, lettuce, tomato, black beans, corn, salsa, pepperjack cheese and a chipotle dressing. I thought it sounded healthy. For goodness sake, nothing was fried or too cheesy. Well, it was 740 calories and about 2000 milligrams of sodium(you’re only supposed to have about 2500). I’m not blaming Einstein’s for this. I just wish things that sounded healthy, were, sort of. It’s ok, next time I’ll just order one of their salads, with boring dressing and no cheese.
