I ‘ve been involved in dentistry as a lab technician for more than 30 years. We have a small lab that deals with a select group of doctors from different parts of the country. As a technician I get to see how good a dentist really is. How nice the office is or personable the doctor may be is not as important as how good they are with their hands, which we get to see, and how technically knowledgeable they have become as the result of years of experience and a dedication to continuing education.
Jay Heim was both my wife’s and my dentist here in Glenwood Springs before he relocated to Denver. In full disclosure, he has also been a customer of our lab for almost 20 years. I can say without reservation that he is one of the best dentists I know and have had the pleasure of working with. I highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist consider Jay.

Dr Heim’s office is lovely; the staff; the office and Dr Jay Heim as well. I had a pretty serious procedure where Dr Jay referred me to a fantastic oral surgeon for part of the procedure and he put in a temporary bridge while I heal. Dr Jay is warm, thorough, and professional and it is obvious he loves dentistry.
