One star off for lettuce on a side salad that wasn’t so fresh. Awesome burger, fries, and beer-​battered rings. The rings were well-​done so as to not leave you with an onion string dangling on your chin.
I’m taking home fried pies. Yup, fried pies.

I was so very pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food was! The décor is simple but comfortable. The service was a little… angry? at first but overall we were very pleased and will be back. Hubs had a hickory burger which he said was great, and I had a club sandwich which was fantastic. The chili cheese fries were TO DIE FOR. If you’re in the area or looking for a short day trip give this little café a try– you won’t regret it!

The double EE restaurant is a great little family dining experience. They are very friendly and have great food. They are known for their fried pies which are delicious. My wife and I eat there often.
