When you visit the Tanasbourne store in Hillsboro, seek out an older sales clerk named Donna. She will help you with anything you have to do there and she is absolutely awesome. I think it’s because of her experience and she is at ease with customers. You don’t even need your coupons, she will give you the discount even if you forgot your coupons. We always have a good experience when we go there because we know who is «in the know» and who is not.

I’ve always loved shopping at BB&B, but this store is not one I would revisit. It feels crowded, like they leased a space that was half the size they needed. A lot of the merchandise was in the wrong place and it looked in bad need of restocking. I spent a while looking through the displays for a shower curtain, and when I saw the one I wanted, I couldn’t find it anywhere. There was no one to ask for help, as I had already asked someone to help me get something that I couldn’t reach and they never came back. It looks like people are selecting items they like, then hiding them behind the shower curtain display. Seriously, just pull the curtains back and you’ll probably find whatever you’re looking for. When I told the cashier that I found something great, but it was in the wrong place and looked like it was hidden, she said, «Oh yeah, I do that too. Sometimes I hide items that I want to buy later.» Really? Come on.

My girlfriend spent 30 minutes digging through the $ 14.99 clearance pillows in the back of the store, comparing all different combinations for our new apartment. She finally found 2 that she absolutely loved, stuffed all the way in the back. We browsed the rest of the store and took notes of several other items we wanted to come back for. When we got to the cash register they rang up for $ 34.99 and were told that they were misplaced and that was their price… all the way in the back… Definitely won’t be shopping at this location.

Okay, two words: PUMPKIN SOAP.
If for nothing else, I will return to this store evermore for that one thing! It comes in a pack of three soaps, I couldn’t even tell you what the other two are. Who cares! I just want the pumpkin soap!
What else have I found here? Like the coolest of cool inventions ever! How about a magnet lid grabber for picking up the canning lids from the boiling bath? Okay… so maybe you don’t can… but if you did you would totally be like, «Are you kidding me??? Why didn’t I think of that?» There are so many simple little inventions like this around the store that can make your life just a little easier! I love that.
Aside from these neat trinkets and tools there is a great selection of bathroom décor, kitchen utensils, and bedding. Curtains, laundry room, and pampering goods are also ample. Prices are very reasonable and staff is always helpful (when you can find someone… which sometimes is not easy to do).
There are also Yankee candles here and frames. And if you are lucky, from time to time they will sell their floor model furniture and rock bottom prices! We got a nice table here that way. I took it home and painted it and adore it still today!

The store always feels like it has things I need in there (even if I don’t NEED them). It’s fun to walk through and see all the variety of household items: From drapes, to bedding, to all types of kitchen items, artwork, candy, coffee, outdoor sets of furniture to crazy pet items.
The store feels crowded since there are so many products in there, getting carts around and walking past other people is a pain. That is why I only give 3 stars — it’s the whole feel of the store, yet I continue to find things that my household «needs» — I do need to hang onto those discount coupons!
The customer service is good, and prices can vary as does quality on items. It’s certainly a fun place to wander through with a friend — but just prepare to spend half an hour in there if you are looking — there is always something new that is worth checking out.

I went to BBB yesterday to buy one item — a curved shower bar. By the time I had left, I also got 4 presents for people, and a pillow. Typical of my shopping trips to this store, they always have what I need, and then some. I had two coupons, so the curved shower bar was less expensive than anyplace else, and they even let me use another coupon, so I saved quite a bit.
I am very happy they are located where they are, because it is so easy to get in and out of the store. Definitely a nice place to shop — very clean and the staff is quite helpful.

This store for being newer is kind of dirty… It also might be the lighting… Whatever it’s just kind of a weird store with bad energy…

I am seriously addicted to shopping here! Those 20% off coupons are awesome. DO NOT throw them away! On my last trip I had 12 coupons dating back to 8÷23÷10. I used one for every item I had and saved over $ 85! Sometimes this place can be overwhelming because there is so much stuff. So I definitely go when I need something.

What’s not to love about BBB? They have just about anything you could need for your home and at pretty reasonable prices. Here’s the inside scoop on this joint: coupons and lot’s of them.
They send out 20% off coupons for one item pretty regularly in their fliers so when you see them, save them. If you buy ten items and have ten coupons, guess what… you just got 20% off of your entire purchase. Oh, and don’t worry about the expiration dates because I’ve never been stopped. As a matter of fact, I just used 7 coupons yesterday that expired in 2010.
