Prices are competitive to online shopping, but selection is limited. Sometimes you need to wait for someone to be ready, but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I purchased two Kingston 120gb SSDs«on sale» for $ 75 each on 01/02/2015. At the time of purchase I asked what the return policy was because I was not certain that I would use both of them. The person helping me informed me that I had 15 days to return it. Turns out I didn’t need the second one. Went to return it yesterday, 01/13/2015 and ENU refused to refund my original purchase price. The manager started out by pointing to the entire page of fine print on the back of the invoice. He said the«we have to follow the legalities of the situation» as if the law prohibits honoring my original purchase price! The«fine print» states that: «Due to industry volatility, all hardware purchases returned will be bought back(in addition to restocking fees) at the lower of:(i) the current SELLER price or(ii) the invoice price.» So, if you do business with ENU Inc., be sure that you understand: 1. That«the market» is apparently extremely volatile over a 15 day period. 2. It does not matter if you ask questions at the counter. The«legalities» are determined by the entire page of fine print on the back of the invoice. And ENU Inc does not care what a person at the counter tells you. 3. In order to successfully do business with ENU Inc., the«BUYER»(their term from«the fine print» — certainly don’t want to use the term«customer») is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the entirety of «the fine print». Because, you know, it is all about the«legalities» of «the fine print» and«the fine print», above all else including, but not limited to common sense, courtesy, customer service, personal accountability, and decency will govern all interactions. It seems to me that a decent application of this type of fine print would be to prevent abuses and repetitive returns and restocking by the same person or business. I, personally, would not ever hold a customer to something as asinine as this silly policy. I certainly would not try to hide behind«industry volatility» over a 15 day period.

As an IT-geek, I tend to have to buy a lot of random parts. You never know when… surprise! You need a power supply or a hard drive or a DVD burner, and it’s 3:00pm on a Friday, and you don’t have one in the trunk of your car. I get most of my stuff from discount houses over the Internet. But sometimes, I need it «now» and I can’t afford to wait three days for it to ship here. ENU to the rescue. They keep pretty tight inventory controls, and it’s linked to their web site, so checking if they have a part in stock is as easy as opening your browser. Their prices are very reasonable for a retail store – not mail order low, but WAY better than what you’d get in town at a bigbox. Customer service is «okay” – when I go there, it’s because I know exactly what I’m looking for and I already know they have it in stock. Assuming there’s no line I can usually get in and out in three minutes flat. For a store that’s 5% of the size of a big-box, they really do stock just about any commonly-sought-after parts. They stock CD/DVD burners, hard drives, common computer cables, a few different routers, networking components, video cards, and more. Don’t expect luxury. You can go to the carpeted big-boys and see pretty floors, flashing lights and beautiful shelving. This is «industrial park computer store» at its finest. But their prices are reasonable and they’ve got a decent selection.

The atmosphere at ENU is pretty odd to say the least. It’s pretty hard to get recommendations or help on choices when the staff doesn’t know as much about computers as the shopper. To give them credit, the prices are decent for a local computer store but there are better options around(Iguana Micro). Overall, they aren’t bad but could definitely use some TLC on the customer service side of operations!

ENU is set up kind of like the soup nazi. You line up and when it is your turn at the counter, you tell them what you want, pay for it, and move along. Frankly, this approach is great for me and it makes purchasing computer components painless when you know what you are doing and don’t need a lot of help. If I am buying something I am not very familiar with, I do my research before going in. ENU has the best local prices on most computer parts. Also, you can buy your parts without all of the retail packaging and junk that would ordinarily come with hard drives or memory at a big box store.

I use ENU all the time. They’re local, have great prices and a decent selection for a small store. I’ve ordered PC’s over the phone without any problems. I have returned parts because they didn’t work out. I highly recommend this store(and their eastside one as well).

This in one of the best computer stores. I’m tired of paying high prices for computer parts that are easily as good from anyone else and you’re supporting local business! Use their website to figure out exactly what you need, walk in with the part number and you’re set. As long as you have some clue to what you’re looking for getting assistance and the thing you need is a breeze. Customer service is fine, but of course I came in knowing exactly what I needed and left satisfied. I’ll be back to the place Monday for a few more things!

This is the worst computer store. The employees are great for the most part. But the owners and managers treat their customers like Steven Speilberg and George Lucas treat Indiana Jones on South Park. You’ll think your getting a good deal on computer parts. But wait until something goes wrong. I’ve never been taken advantage as bad as I have been at Enu in Hillsboro.
