DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They charged me $ 750 to fix my lap top. They loaded an ILLEGAL copy of Windows software on my system. And left off Office software which I had also paid for. I returned my computer to them and they refused to work on it because it was «damaged in shipment». When they shipped my laptop back to me the entire disk had been erased. (strange coincidence?) I am assuming this was done to avoid the Microsoft thousand dollar fines of loading illegal software on computers. They also dented the side of the laptop.
For 4 weeks now I have received unprofessional harassing emails and phone calls directly from them. In one phone call, they were yelling I own them $ 860.00 and that my US bank didn’t pay them. I don’t bank at US and my bill was paid 6 months ago for the amount they billed me. Maybe they have so many customers upset with their practices they are getting them all mixed up.
They promised me a $ 210 refund for the illegal software, but have harassed me so much at this point I don’t even want their refund. I am out $ 750.00 and warning all of you to avoid this business.
Here are just a few of their quotes: «Take the refund of $ 210.00 or I suppose you could come to Vegas to take us to civil court. The last two people on Unilocal lost their lawsuit and got countersued for $ 2300 + court fees. Unless you’d like to be the third person I bring into litigation. This is not negotiable. «

This guy is a flat out crook! Do not to business with this guy if you don’t want to be upset and have to take him to court later. He will try to get you to sign a paper then jump the price up on you. Even if you tell him I don’t want to do it. He will charge your card at the updated price and not even give you the opportunity to say no. I took my phone home after finding out he would take awhile and he charged my card for labor and repair even though he didn’t do any work on it. Currently having to deal with the credit card company to reverse the charges.

First and hopefully last time I had to call the police and file a civil suit against a business was with this company. Got in a dispute over a invoice when he wanted a lot more money than in the paper copy given to me. I wasn’t going to pay extra for services not needed (or mentioned until after a week of inspection and quote). Company was properly served with a signed receipt and ignored court papers. I won a default judgement. When I contacted him before returning to court I received a lot of nasty emails as seen here. Story ended with them letting me pay my original repair cost minus all my court fees.
Just a few emails directly from company owner NOT EDITED AT ALL:
Office wasn’t served with anything. We have not signed for anything. Do what ever you like. This is over $ 34 up charge, you refused to pay. When you complete your payment we will send you your phone’s back. You have untill the 19^th of this current month to pay your bill. If you choose not to pay we will sell the phones to cover the cost of the repair. I will be covering no court costs. Not now, not ever will just Absolve and move on. You haven’t properly served the company you are supposedly are suing. Furthermore sue away the company owns nothing.

I’m not paying your court costs you could’ve paid your bill and got your phones back and instead you chose The low moral ground of frivolous lawsuits. You chose to spend money on the courts, on court fees that’s your loss. Go ahead sue the Company it doesn’t own anything gold digger. It can’t pay you anything. I’ll just absolve and you can fuck off.

I’m making this offer on your behalf, because once I absolve I’ll send in the required documentation an records, to the court, showing that company owns nothing and has no money; because it doesn’t. You won’t get paid a dime. The company doesn’t have a dime to pay you. I hope this is sinking in, because it’s true. There will be no more communication by phone. Feel free to email the company All you like. This offer expires in one hour. If you choose to take my offer, you have 72 hours to comply with payment whereupon your phones will be overnight shipped back to you. Take it or leave it. I don’t much care which one you choose. Either you can get your phone back and I can get paid and we can go our separate ways or you can get nothing and i can absolve and I’ll go my separate way, At that point you’ll get nothing at all and I’ll Go my separate way. This company doesn’t make that much money anyways I am shutting it down soon irregardless.
** should be noted, this company didn’t have a single Unilocal review the day I said I would file suit (4−19−13). Hours after our phone coversation two new accounts were opened on Unilocal that very day and wrote glowing five stars reviews that Unilocal themselves filtered out. Interesting timing odds.
