I ordered 2 dinner dishes during lunch. When it didn’t come with rice, I asked for them. Then the waitress told me my meal doesn’t come with steam rice. What the heck?! Not a positive experience for sure

Real fast on take-out orders. Like most Chinese places, a large selection. Less Americanized than most Chinese restaurants like Panda Express.

I was told about this place by a friend of a friend. Chinese food is hard to find near Hillsboro. So I decided to check it out. I ordered the fun chow, the garden rolls, the roast duck on rice and the pot stickers. I have found that comparing similar foods from similar types of restaurants a good method of measuring the quality and«authenticity» of the food. They were all good. Even the tea was good and I’m not a big tea fan.(lots of flavour) Based of some of the reviews that I saw I was hesitant. The staff was on the ball and helpful. Didn’t check if they have Wifi but I plan on going back to check out more of their menu. I’d say check it out if you’re in the area.

Consistent, amazing bowls of dumpling soup! It’s always half empty which is a tragedy due because on a cold winter rainy day, a warm bowl of dumpling soup with noodles and bok choy hits the spot! If you’re really hungry, The souper bowl A is amazing!

We were in Hillsboro looking for lunch … Chinese lunch. We found our Chinese lunch at Good Taste Noodle House. It was quiet. We checked Unilocal, scanned the menu, and ordered a couple bowls that sound good on a rainy day. * Congee(Rice Porridge) with Youtiao(Chinese Cruller) Quick and simple comfort food hit the spot while the warm fried dough stick was a perfect companion. * Roasted Duck Wonton Noodles The noodles weren’t as simple or spot on, but I liked the noodles more than the wontons. Large cuts of roast duck is the real difference maker. Free parking, a relaxed atmosphere, and comfortable array of Chinese options all make Good Taste Noodle House an a-ok 3-star choice in Hillsboro, OR.

I’ve eaten a lot of noodle soups through the years… especially of the Asian varieties. Phở, Ramen, Won Ton, Rice Stick… so many varieties. Good Taste Noodle House makes a great Chinese style soup… wonderful broth and very generous toppings… especially the dumplings! My favorite is the beef stew won ton noodle… so yummy… only get this one if you want genuine Chinese soup as the beef is fatty and full of sinew, but extremely tender because they prepare it right. With it you get these giant shrimp and pork stuffed dumplings and a mountain of wheat noodles. It is a perfect bowl of yumminess on a cold rainy day. Another winner is the Super Bowl A, filled with roasted pork, roasted duck, bbq pork, and those magnificent dumplings. You can’t go wrong with either… if it’s cold and rainy… come here! Outside of their roasted meats, the menu is pretty standard fare for Chinese American and everything we’ve tried is solid. The roasted meats are right up there with their soups… especially the pork and duck… both are amazing… and the Super Bowl A will give you a taste of both the roasted meats and the soup… try it today!

We ordered a lot to go, and they helped us to put everything in the car. Good service, great taste, will come back.

Met a friend here for soup. I have driven by this place a million times but never stopped in. It’s not much to look at but the ladies that work there are nice enough. Upon my friends recommendation I had the Super Bowl«A» and it was delicious. I finished eating about an hour ago but I am still thinking about it. I am going to start pretending I am sick so I have a reason to get more soup.

Best Wonton Soup! The wontons are homemade and delicious! I haven’t tried much else on the menu yet.

This review is for the takeout duck only; it is fabulous! The skin is crispy, the sauce is dolloped generously into to-go cups, and the birds are usually a decent size. If you get a whole duck and don’t finish it in the first sitting, I recommend popping the leftovers in the oven at 300 – 350 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes to heat them up; this is preferable to microwaving because it keeps the skin crispy.

Fire definitely recommended for everyone! I am going to be spreading the word about this small discreet restaurant. Super friendly crew who always kept a smile on their face. Cheers to places like this

Really good roast duck wonton noodles. They serve the good noodles with a film texture. Servings are a nice size. The duck should have been hotter.

Good Chinese food. Combos have good variety and the flavors are good. We usually call in orders and they have them ready quickly. Better than commercialized Chinese food chains. People who’ve left bad reviews obviously don’t eat Chinese very often(It’s not meant to be healthy.)

Very bland! Service was slow! We ordered the wonton noodle soup, bland!!! Plate Combo 2, shrimp tempura to much breading!!! Beef noodle wonton soup, beef was way way to fatty! We asked for limes and they brought out two small slices, we asked for more and said they had no more… Really!!! Will not be coming back!

Pros: Tasty and authentic. Friendly service. Cons: They were out of most bbq/roasted meats. No house made noodles. Came in for dinner on a Tuesday night, place was pretty empty except for 2 other tables. Had the su kao(dumpling) noodle soup and the roasted pork wonton noodle soup. The su kao were very juicy and stuffed with ground pork and whole shrimp. Roasted pork had crispy skin and tasted fresh. They didn’t have quite enough roasted pork left for a full portion, so they asked if we were ok with subbing in some bbq pork. Sure! Broth was hot and flavorful. My only gripe was for a noodle house, they didn’t have fresh house made noodles. Next time, I will call ahead to pre-order a whole roasted duck($ 18).

Yuck! This place is really really bad. The service was alright compared to other Chinese restaurants. Not bad not good, just OKAY. Now the terrible part. I order the super bowl(maybe 12A) and it was horrible. My body is very sensitive with food(especially bad food) and I could tell that the pork and duck in the soup were bad quality. It tasted like someone’s food leftover and they just dumped them in for the next customers. I puked right the way after I got home. Close to my house and convenient location but I prefer driving further to get healthy food. Sorry for giving you guys bad review but I was telling the truth.

This place is great food at a reasonable price. enjoyed the mongolian beef and curry chicken. Soup is pretty good. If they cleaned up the dining room and made it a bit more fancy this could be even better. Food quality and veggies are fresh, Great for Lunch or dinner… TRYIT

I had seen the giant wonton soup bowl pics on Unilocal and had to check out Good Taste. I have a wonton soup lover in the house so I thought she might be excited. Instead, my daughter opted for the chicken soup with egg noodles and a big piece of chicken cut on top of her soup. She said she enjoyed it and had leftovers to boot. So I ordered the wonton soup with addition of extra dumplings The regular portion for the basic wonton soup was plenty and I really didn’t need the extra. Anyway, good value, but both the wontons and broth were pretty bland and uninteresting. The addition of chili oil didn’t help… oh well.

Going downhill fast. Place feels dirty. Soup not consistent, and has come out like warm the last 2 times which makes it gelatinous very quickly. The area behind the cash register and also the area just across inside the doors across from the register are what I think lurks in the kitchen. Clutter, employees cups and food near where they are making some of the drinks. Boxes and crap laying around, just overall disappointed at the direction this once good spot has gone.

I’m totally eating here again tonight!!! Love the spring rolls and the barbecue pork is perfectly done. I can’t wait to try more of the many options they offer.
