I’ve had knee problems since I can remember, have congenital OCD, and been to several very good doctors. Dr. Buuck was amazing. Unfortunately not in a good way. Imagine you have never met a Dr., he marches in with your X-​rays and announces in a big cheerful voice «Looks like someone is a candidate for Knee Replacement Surgery». Now imagine you’re barely 45. No thank you.
The worst thing I did was trust him to do surgery. That was 4 years ago, and despite physical therapy I’ve never recovered a complete range of motion in that knee. If you want to be taken seriously and listened to, this isn’t your doc.

Dr. Buuck has resolved several significant joint problems for me, the most complicated being a tricky shoulder surgery that resolved issues I had been having for years. He is knowledgeable, skilled, careful, and courteous. He explains the basis of his diagnosis and specializes his treatment and recommendations based on each patient, the injury severity, and the activity level desired. It’s worth the drive from Portland to see him.
