History

Established in 1987.

Hillsboro Vision Clinic was established by Gordon Lind, O.D. in the 1950’s. I worked for Dr. Lind for a year and took over full time in 1988 when he retired. In 2006 we moved from downtown Hillsboro, two miles east to our current location. The move allowed us to expand and update our facility. We increased office hours to include four evenings a week and Saturdays for our patient’s convenience. The new office is also larger so we were able to bring in new high tech diagnostic equipment such as the Optos retinal imaging system and the cutting edge OCT machine for retina and optic nerve head evaluation. I am proud to have my two associates, Dr. Toby L. Andreasen and Dr. Rachael Kenyon on staff. They are skilled doctors and great people. Carol Barr is my long time office manager and Paul Willis and Kellen Plomski are outstanding Opticians. Staff turnover is inevitable but my core staff has been with me for years and is an outstanding group.

Business Owner

Dr. Perry grew up in Beaverton, Oregon. After graduating from Sunset High School he earned a degree in elementary education from Oregon College of Education and taught grade school in Beaverton for three years. He attended Pacific University College of Optometry and graduated with honors in 1987. Dr. Perry and his wife live in Hillsboro and have three grown children. When not at work the Perry’s enjoy traveling, golfing, working around the house and going to the club for an exercise class or workout.
