PLEASE READ IF YOU’RE GETTING PRESCRIPTION GLASSES! If you’re planning on getting prescription glasses here, DO NOT BUY THEIR FRAMES! They’re extremely overpriced compared to other stores like Costco. Why should you pay over $ 200 for a freaking frame when you can get the same one at Costco for $ 40!
When I went in to get a new prescription glass last week, I was displeased with the service that I’ve received. The employee working at the glass section gave me help at all. I was having trouble picking out a frame and I needed help. The employee that was suppose to help me out didn’t do much. Here’s the great thing, after I picked out a frame and brought it up to him, he told me the full price and made my jaw dropped. I’m baffled on why he didn’t tell me this before I picked out a frame. Angry and mad, I didn’t want to buy the frame and asked him for other options. He told me that the ones here are my only option. Not true… I asked if it was possible to buy a frame another store and bring it in for them to install the lens. He said yes, that’s it. He didn’t go further explaining. I had to kept asking him exhausting questions for clarification and explanations. Ugh, I really did not like that guy.
Also, I’d like to mention that I scheduled my appointment to be at 1:30 p.m. I ended up waiting until 2:20ish… Bring something to entertain yourself for the waiting.

I came from California, and the staff at this location are 10x more nice and helpful than the location I used to go to. They know what they’re talking about and are patient and accommodating.

Kaiser is currently renovating the facility, a minor inconvenience. The place is busy like hell, very overloaded but generally run efficiently and competently. Mayo clinic it is not but that’s not what they are opposed to be. As in any other large facility their staff runs a gamut from old bitter looking nurses, to young enthusiastic, not yet burned out, fresh out of school and generally friendly kids (sometimes comically haughty) and everything in between. The registration desk is particularly uneven. I’ve been their patient for years, recognize most of the faces there and generally happy with them. Two somewhat iffy cases is their long time x-​ray technician who can jerk you around when he feels like it and that older, nosy Russian lady in the lab. Will provide details if somebody in the facility is interested.

Every week, several times… got to get my shots… I feel like a lab rat… oh well. Too bad the wait times can be so long to get shots at the nurses station. Sometimes it looks like it will be quick and yet here I am over an hour later… and I have to wait 30 minutes after the shotr to be checked. So this becomes a chore. Check in folks are great, nurses are great. They just don’t seem like the hurry too much… which makes it even tougher…

I had an out patience surgery, everyone was very proffesional and nice, BUT while recovering they rush to get me out of there, they said since I was awake and my vitals were stable, I should just go home, I couldn’t even walk on my own let alone sit without feeling pain and they rush me to be send home, I agreed to go home because I was getting very irritated with the treatment. 1 hour after getting home one of my stitches starter to bleed badly, I called and they said to apple pressure and it’s normal (I had 4 incisions in total but only one was bleeding), I went back anyway (putting more pressure on the poor friend that was taking care of me), once there the receptionist was super nice and called a surgery/​recovery room nurse, she saw I was bleeding, called another nurse and cleaned the wound, said it was normal but it needed to be cleaned, gave me supplies to clean it at home if it happens again.
I had a few surgeries in a few hospitals before and my far, this is the WORST care I receive while recovering, rushing to get you home IT IS NOT the way to care of someone who got out of surgery one hour before and I had surgeries in 3^rd world countries and they treat you better in recovery.

Dr. Marc Rothgery is not a doctor worth seeing. He does not listen to you or care what you think. He demands a course of action whether you agree with it or not. Then he writes the wrong version of what happened in the file which is accessible online. Dumb. I give him a A BIG FAT F. He is a jerk. I was going to use other names but I’m going to reframe from using that kind of language. He is the worst Kaiser Dr. On a scale from 0 to 10 I would give him a big fat 0 he makes Kaiser look really bad. I am so sorry I went to see this egotastic jackass. I hope to see him at the local McDonalds flipping burgers real soon he does not deserve to be a doctor. This doctor is full of $#%#t. I think he got his doctor’s degree from the local Kmart.

This is about the emergency room. I haven’t been a patient in any other part of the hospital. However, over the weekend I got a dog bite. They got me right in at the emergency room with pretty much no wait. That was a first for me. Usually at ERs you have to wait a while. Nurse was super nice and competent and the doctor saw me within 10 – 15 minutes of arrival. The doctor was very matter of fact and professional. He could have recommended a big course of preventative treatment «just in case» for rabies, but was very reassuring and practical– most people don’t need rabie treatment. Overall– very good experience. The new hospital seems very nice as well and they seem to be utilizing technology extremely well.

Slowest place on earth. On my first visit, they didn’t have the medication prescribed, so, they had to call the doctor. It was lunch time, so, I wasn’t expecting a call for at least an hour. They didn’t call back till 6pm. When I went to collect it the next day, I still had to wait 45 minutes. Today, I waited an hour and my number was still not called. I had to be somewhere else so, I guess I’m not getting my medication…

The doctor here are very nice and we didn’t have a much of a wait either. The nurse are nice and helpful. This hospital was very clean. I will recommend this hospital to every one.

I missed an appointment (which was made in Feb and scheduled for May). I was expecting an automated message from Kaiser (i had got it in my previous 5 – 6 visits) and completely forgot about the reservation. I expect a reputed hospital like Kaiser to be understanding and waive the fee which i was never informed about in the first place.

I had surgery here and unfortunately did not feel the way the other lucky reviewers did.
I used to be a Kaiser member (decade ago at a different hospital) and I really loved them then. I’ve only been back with KP since October last year and I’ve been seriously rethinking that choice.
Since I don’t get my insurance from work (I’m self employed) I can choose where I spend my money.

Had surgery here in november. This place was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. I had to stay overnight and to order food you just press some buttons on your rooms tv and it shows up at the time you specify. It tasted great too. I had an omelet and sausage pattys.
I remember visiting my grandma in a Kaiser hospital down in LA and thinking it was drab and not at all vibrant in there. Here there are warm and soothing colors everywhere and each floor of the hospital rooms has a different them. The floor I was on was wetlands themed so all the doors had picturs of cranes and other wetlands wildlife.
I am glad Kaiser built this place and am not worried about having to be admitted to the hoapital in the future at all. I know that my stay would be great.

WHOLLY COW these people are great! I’m always so impressed w/​how great they treat me and my family… in fact, sometimes they go a little overboard — I really don’t need to be walked to my seat in the waiting room! lol

Totally disorganized. Kaiser just can’t get their stuff straight. Made an appointment at the evergreen facility, called back to make sure it was at the evergreen faculty, only to show up and be told my appointment was booked at the baseline facility. I hauled butt over to their baseline facility but couldn’t find it. I called to get exact directions and guess what? They told me my appointment is at evergreen. Missed my appointment and now must suffer for one more day. Kaiser is the worst.

We haven’t really had any bad experiences with Kaiser. Our family doctors are great :)

First I would like to say that the only reason I gave it one star was because Dr. Laraway is an amazing pediatric dentist. My kids have been seeing him for years.
Now realistically, if I could give this dental office a negative star I definitely would. It is located in a nice secluded area in Hillsboro right next to the Streets of Tanasbourne. It is an extremely busy office which is not very patient friendly. If you want to be seen it takes several weeks if not months of advanced booking. You need to schedule routine cleaning and xrays 3 months in advance. And even if you would like to schedule an emergency appointment it may take up to two days. That is ridiculous!!! In fact, only when you get nasty with them, do they finally find a way to squeeze you in somewhere.
I had a horrible experience with my four-​year-​old in the beginning of Sept. 2011. He was complaining about being in a lot of pain and the dentist informed me he needed the tooth to be extracted. He said that it needs to be done as soon as possible. I needed to schedule another appointment for the extraction, which was already bizarre to me. Why couldn’t he just yank it out? Anyway, when it came to scheduling with the ladies in front, they said the next available spot was in October. I was so upset that I just took it and went home to prevent myself from making a scene at the office. My husband on the other hand gave it to them. We have been with Kaiser for 6 years and am seriously considering just dumping them cold turkey if I can find a somewhere better.

This place is a complete joke. It’s too busy. My son went in last week because he was in agonizing pain. They looked at him, did some cleaning, did their diagnostics, then said to come back in a month to get the procedure done. A month! This is ridiculous. My son is in agonizing pain, he’s crying whenever he tries to eat something. Then they tell me to come back in a month or they can charge us $ 25 emergency fee. So I call them today to do the emergency, then they said there’s no emergency appointments available. I asked if he can go to a different facility. Then they said we would have to move everything to the other facility. KAISER DENTAL sucks.
