History

Established in 2009.

Kat and Mike have been capturing weddings for three years in Portland, the Willamette Valley and the coastline. We specialize in wedding and engagement photography, but focusing on excellent client experience as the basis for everything we do. Our ideal client is a couple who values not only great photography, but values a great customer experience as the cherry on top.

Kat and Mike have three young children, who are the center of everything they do. Fun facts? Kat’s favorite movie ever is the Goonies, followed by the Never Ending Story. Mike could eat Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups at every meal (they’re his favorite!) and probably never put on a pound (Kat despises him for that). Kat sheds a few tears at almost every wedding. The exchange of vows and the bride or groom getting emotional are usually the triggers. And… Mike is frequently called a pack mule (lovingly, of couse). At any wedding, he’s usually carrying all the camera equipment, jackets for the bridal party, and just about anything else you can throw on him.

Lastly, when Kat isn’t writing about herself and Mike in the third person, she can be found driving her Wrangler with the top down and music too loud, riding/​crashing on a wakeboard in the Green Peter Reservoir, or on Mount Hood trying to keep up with Mike on a snowboard.
