SeasonsGear is a snowboard gear buyback program. We are currently purchasing most snowboard gear with the exception to helmets.

We also specialize in purchasing snowboard gear in bulk from companies/​resorts who supply have rentals or demo boards being unused.

Everything that we do is online, however, if you are local, feel free to stop by! We have an outstanding Customer Care Team ready to answer any questions you may have and assist you with selling your device.

History

Established in 2013.

Our company is very diverse. We are better known as Cash4Books, which was established in 2004. Cash4Books is a buyback program for college students with textbooks.

We’ve recently branched out and created SeasonsGear, where we have taken our buyback knowledge of textbooks, and created a buyback program for snowboarding gear.

The owner of SeasonsGear is Jim and Breanne Smith.

Business Owner

In the spring of 2003, I was diagnosed with a life threatening brain tumor. It was the size of a golf ball, and right next to my brain stem. The doctors said that if it got any larger, my heart would stop and I’d be dead. It took two surgeries at OHSU, in the summer of 2003, to completely remove the tumor. Apart from hearing loss and minor vision problems, I recovered completely.

During my recovery, in the fall and winter of 2003, I was a changed person. As my wife Breanne will attest to, I was more driven and more entrepreneurial than ever before in my life. Perhaps this was due to more «real estate» available in my brain. Or, perhaps it was psychological, because I had a new lease on life. Or, maybe it was some of both.

I developed a business plan and website and started a company called Cash4Books. It has been very successful over the past 10 years and we’ve recently expanded to TechTwice and SeasonsGear.

We are very excited to see what our new business adventures have in store.
