Vivid Eye Care

My husband and I had no trouble getting back-​to-​back initial appointments within a week of contacting this office, which we’d chosen after we saw the good reviews on Unilocal.We both had our eyes examined by Dr. Knutson. She was very thorough with me, and took time to get to know something about my lifestyle and my eye health history. She readily answered questions about my concerns and seemed very thoughtful and competent as well as kind and considerate. She identified a problem I didn’t know I had before (astigmatism) and suggested glasses for night driving, which I will be trying out.

I usually don’t write reviews. But this time around, i just had to. I ordered 2 boxes of lenses from them, which was suppose to take 2 – 3 days to come. I specifically gave them instructions to monitor the order, since i was travelling internationally and needed the contacts before i left.
i called them a week later, and they had no clue as to what the status of the order was! It took them time to figure out where it was. And as it turned out, it was going to be delivered a week later! This completely screwed up my plans!!!
This is completely unprofessional. Won’t recommend them to others!

Great service, great care. Dr Knutson was amazing and provided plenty of detail and excellent advice.

The doctors and staff here are super friendly. I’m able to get all of my eye care taken care of here, from exams to glasses. They even have a good selection of safety eye wear for those of us who work in more dangerous environments.

I called for an appointment for the same day and they were nice but said they didn’t have any.
They asked me what was wrong. I said I think I have something in my eye and it’s really bothering me… since last night.
They then told me I could just drop in any time that day and they would work me in ASAP.
So I did. Turns out I had a PIECE OF METAL in my eye which Dr. Jessica Lynch skillfully excavated out… painlessly I might add.
She is totally IT!!!
Ultra nice, ultra caring and so great at what she does.

I’ve seen Dr. Lynch here for about 2 years, and it has always been a good experience. Things I like:
— Dr. Lynch always gives thorough explanations of the exam results, and of the eyes in general.
— They always give me a print-​out of the exam results, and they always offer an itemized receipt for reimbursements.
— I’ve never had to wait — the staff and doctors have always been right on time.
The only issue I’ve ran into is their selection of sunglasses frames — I couldn’t find anything that worked for me. The rest of the frame selection looks good, though I’ve never bought frames here.

It is very refreshing to speak to competent receptionists at optometrists/​dental offices/​anywhere. Thanks Mai and co. — not once did you try to convince me that I didn’t know how my insurance works. I love that!
Dr. Lynch gave a thorough eye exam and is clearly passionate about what she does. Getting any kind of exam can be a tense experience, but I was never indisposed. If anything, I was too busy racking my brain for eye-​related jokes to fill in those pesky pauses when notes are jotted ad nauseum on a clipboard or misplaced instruments are being sought after. Good thing those pauses were few and far between! Because I had nothing.
The waiting area is clean and polished, but somehow avoids the white-​box corporate aesthetic (I mean, there’s a little of that obviously). I wish some more affordable frames were on display, because I hate the idea of going back to Visionworks, where every problem with my lenses seems to stem from wiping them off with my shirt once or twice. That smug nod they always do…
Anyway, I received only a routine exam and a contacts fitting, but left feeling reassured that I’d made the right choice. Unilocal reviews for health care providers are a crapshoot, plagued with harrowing accounts of long wait times and terrible inconveniences, so hopefully knowing that my visit was rather mundane is a virtue. Take it as you may.

I picked this place because of the glowing Unilocal reviews and it being pretty close to my home, but had a not so pleasant experience.
The doctor spent more time on suggesting that I buy frames from this place rather than actually talking to me about the health of my eyes. The eye exam was done, no conversation with me, nothing. Just suggestions about buying frames. That put me off !
I found it to be a waste of my time.

Scheduled me in very quickly, Dr. Knutson explained my options well, and was able to find some interesting things about my eyes that my old doc never saw!
Front desk staff are very nice and were patient with me while I half-​blindly (eyes were dilated) searched for new lenses.

Finally I can read. Yeah… After visiting my former doctor last year three times, I was still struggling to get a good prescription and glasses that worked for me. I decided to visit Dr. Linda Knutson and finally got a prescription that works perfectly for me. She is friendly and explains all details while performing the exam. The facility is spacious, nice décor and clean.

Friendly staff, and reasonable prices.

Great hours, easy location, friendly staff, knowledgeable and thorough doctor. I am new to the area, saw Dr. Linda and need look no further for my eye care.

I had a great experience at Vivid Eye Care– I have been really busy with work, so didn’t remember that my vision benefits needed to be used until the last minute. They were able to get me in for an appointment, the entire staff was friendly/​knowledgeable, Dr. Lynch was amazing, and even though they were really busy, everyone (quite literally) helped me to pick out my new frames, which were covered 100% by my insurance.
The service was great, there was no wait even at the busiest time of year, and my total out of pocket cost– including adding scratch resistance and glare protection– was less than half what I have paid locally; without the added protection.
I very much suggest you visit them for your next exam and frames!

Modern, comfortable and efficient. I was impressed that the first pair of frames they recommended were the ones I ended up with… even after I tried on 20 more :) Dr. Lynch is fabulous!

I read the prior Unilocal review before booking my appointment. My old optometrist didn’t take VSP. They’re a provider and got me an appointment right away on the Saturday I need. My experience mirrors the very good comments on their Unilocal site. I had handful of doctors I could of seen near where I lived, but their Unilocal reviews doesn’t compared a chance with Vivid Eye Care. So I’m glad the reviews were accurate and I hope you do too.

First experience with Vivid Eye Care and Dr. Lynch. I usually go to Costco because I don’t have optical insurance, but decided to try someplace new to receive a more personal touch. Vivid has a beautiful, newly decorated showroom and exam area. The front office staff was friendly, and acknowledged me immediately. Dr. Lynch was very thorough in my exam and took extra attention to address my concerns. They have a large selection of very reasonably priced frames, and the staff was very helpful and honest about the best frame and style for my face.

Love the new location. Dr. Lynch is fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and fast! They have new equipment too, which is a nice change from my previous doc on the east coast.

I switched eye doctors as I didn’t really connect with the one I’d been seeing. It’s always a crap shoot to find a good fit, especially without recommendations, but thank goodness for Unilocal and a bit of intuition…
Dr. Jessica Lynch and Vivid Eye Care was just what I was looking for.
The office, located in a commercial, urban setting, is posh yet comfortable. The staff is friendly. Dr. Lynch was welcoming, knowledgeable, answered all questions, listened, and made me feel as though we’d known each other for years.
I’m happy. The «eyes» have it.

Everything was perfect. The appointment was easy to make and quick. The eye exam was professional, efficient, and even enjoyable. Dr. Lynch was great.
I’ll be back for regular annual check-​ups.
