The Sho Kin Karate Academy facility offers a program and location that is safe, functional and practical for all students who wish to participate in martial arts, self defense, yoga, cardio kick boxing or meditation classes. Each student, no matter experience or skill level will be able to train. Training will condition the mind, body and soul in ways you never imagined.

Meet the Business Owner

Sensei H G.

Business Owner

Sensei H is a graduate of Bloomfield College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance. He has been training in the Martial Arts for over 20 years, and has attained a Fourth degree black belt under the instruction of Grandmaster Hinton Kinsler (Fuqan Ali), Sensei Ronald Johnson, Shihan Bruce Jones, Master Tyrone Kelly and Master Mark Gorham. He has been teaching Martial Arts for many years.

Sensei H got his start in Martial Arts as a means of supplemental activity after school at the age of 11. He received his Black Belt from Grand Master Kinsler of the Kincade School of Martial Arts in 1996 and has continued his studies in Martial Arts as a competitor and as an instructor. As a world class fighter, Sensei H has represented National Karate Teams Sudden Impact and Team Victory in numerous National Karate Championships across the US. Sensei H also had the honor of being inducted into the World Karate Union Hall of Fame in 1997.
