AA Marshall’s Taxi

I highly recommend calling Uncle Marshall for a ride if you are in Hilo. He arrived early and was super patient while we returned our rental car. In addition, he was friendly and easy to talk story with. We are definitely calling him up the next time we need a ride in Hilo and recommend you do too!

Marshall is the one!!! Seriously if you are down for expert local knowledge at a hell of a deal this is your guy. It is called Marshall’s Taxi and the person who picks you up is actually named Marshall… do I need to say anything more?

AA Marshall’s was excellent! He was so helpful and communicative over the phone when I called the day before my flight arrived in Hilo, and so friendly in person! He was there early to pick us up at the airport, gave me very clear directions as to where I should meet him, and helped with our very heavy bags. I would highly recommended him!

Marshall arrived early for the trip as well as the return.
Beyond that, though, Marshall is a genuine gentleman. He engaged in interesting conversation with both my wife and myself.
I could not recommend him more highly.

Marshals was great ! I called him the day before my flight to confirm that he is available around the time that I land in HiLo and he said he would make sure to be available around that time for me ! He was extremely helpful! The day of the flight, before taking off I had given him another call to let him know the approximate time of arrival and right when I landed, he called me and said he was waiting outside for me already. He waited for me to get my checked in baggages and even help us load them on his car. I would highly highly recommend you to use Marshalls taxi service. He was super helpful and chatted with us the whole car ride and told us some very interesting and useful information ! Call him, you will not regret !

I always call Marshall whenever I need a cab ride on the Big Island. Prompt, honest, courteous and very knowledgeable about the island. If I could give him a six star rating I would. A genuinely nice guy with a good heart!

Marshal picked up my traveling partner and I at a corner in the rain at 4am and drove us to the Hilo aiport. He was as sweet as can be and held a great conversation, so the ride there was enjoyable.
Supporting genuine, local business is something we should be doing and Marshal is a perfect example of why.

Marshall was awesome! My boyfriend and I were catching a helicopter tour before taking the bus to Kona and so Marshall drove us back and forth to the airport and then to downtown throughout the day. He was very prompt (usually arrived a minimum of 5 minutes prior to the time we set), a wonderful driver, and a very nice guy. I would highly recommend him to a friend!

Marshall is a courteous, prompt, and reliable. He is also down-​to-​earth and kind. I would not hesitate recommending him to anyone.

Marshall is a very sweet and knowledgable man. He gives very interesting, first hand information and history of the big island. This guy might as well be the mayor:) He offered me a five star service and was extremely helpful in every aspect. Marshall saved my butt after I decided to walk through a scary neighborhood to dinner & had better sense to take the same route back after dark. He was courteous & prompt even though I was nervous & called him 3 times in the span of 40 minutes. Thanks so much, Marshall. Very grateful.

This is the most reliable taxi service in Hilo. Marshall was right on time for pick up and his mini van was really clean. He was also very friendly and seems to know the Hilo area well. If you need a ride anywhere I highly recommend giving Marshall a call!

Marshall picked me up from the ER after I got discharged. I asked to stop at a Seven-​Eleven, and he did kindly, without complaining about waiting. We had a good conversation and I felt like I made a new friend. The car was clean and smelled nice. Would definitely call him again.

Spotless, well air conditioned taxi that arrived exactly on time and was driven by what has to be the nicest guy in Hilo! My first trip but it will not be my last! The other reviews got it right; Marshall is the best!!!

Marshall was friendly, fast and helpful. His vehicle was very clean and had no odors (unlike the other taxi I used while in Hilo). Upon seeing the available cabs when looking for one to take me to my hotel from the airport, I decided to try and find one that didn’t smoke, or at least not in their cab with all the windows rolled up!
There is a reason Marshall has the highest reviews on Unilocal!It’s because he IS the best.
He was prompt, courteous and honest. At one point we neared an intersection and he told me that turning right was the shorter route but due to construction it would take a lot longer and would end up costing me more, or we could go straight and it would be ½ — ¾ miles longer but would save possibly nearly an hour without the construction traffic. He asked which is preferred! I chose the route without construction. That evening back at the hotel some new made friends from the tour I took were complaining that they almost missed the hike because they say in traffic for 45 minutes on the way their!
If you need a taxi while in Hilo, you’d be an idiot not to choose Marshall!

Nice guy and great to talk to. He even knew my dad from down under in the pacific who passed away awhile ago. I would recommend his service and safe driving.

Called Marshall from a car rental company a few miles from the airport. He showed up in about 10 minutes and helped us load our bags. Super friendly local guy who chatted up the ride to the airport. I would highly recommend him. Mahalo uncle.
