I grew up in Hilo and consider it the next best thing to Heaven. I graduated from UC Davis and fell into the flower business and have never looked back. It is with passion and delight that I wake up everyday with the privilege to work with God’s most beautiful creations.

I live on the mainland and wanted to send flowers for the hospital staff that’s caring for my grandma. The online form was easy to use, and I submitted my order by 11am Hawaii time. Kui&I delivered around 2pm Hawaii time. My mom sent me this photo of the arrangement and it looks gorgeous! Thank you, Kui&I!

It’s a good place to get bouquets and stuff. But would it kill the staff to be friendly? Or at least smile a bit. Sure great arrangements and stuff but being friendly and welcoming to costumers isn’t that hard.

I live on another Island, but needed to order flowers for a great friend that lives in Hilo. Asked a few people for recommendations and both mentioned Kui & I florist. Called this morning for delivery same day. The person who answered the phone was so pleasant and helpful. With her help I ordered a arrangement which she said my friend would really like. So I put my trust in this person.
This afternoon, I received a email and a picture of the beautiful flowers from my friend, thanking me for the beautiful flowers.
I will definitely use Kui & I whenever I need to send flowers to my friends in Hilo.

4 stars because it’s a local business. This floral shop is one of two giants jn the industry along with Floral Mart. Kui & I has a pretty big show room. They have their own signature designs and decorations when it comes to arrangements, bouquets and etc. The staff seems nice.

How Unilocal let me check into my favorite florist from San Francisco, I have no idea, but awesome! Because, now I can write a review.
I’ve been coming here ever since I can remember (and Floral Mart across the street), and I know that I can always depend on them. I will typically call a few days before I need flowers, tell them my mom loves carnations, their budget, and let them have at it. I don’t need to give them any direction because I know that whatever ends up being delivered is going to be awesome.

My husband and I eloped to Hilo, Hawaii. Kui & I was the florist included as part of our wedding package. Kui created a gorgeous, lush, tropical bouquet and matching flowers for my hair. It was everything I dreamed it would be and more! Excellent work!

why would you call and ask the person you have a delivery for if they want the flowers?
it was supposed to be a valentine surprise but thanks to them they made my mom feel like she had to pay for her gift!!! So what happens they cancel my order because they couldn’t do their job! Then I reorder and its supposed to be delivered today and they are still not doing their job… It’s so sad when people don’t do their job right. I should of just had my sister go to another shop for me since she lives in hilo. I went through bloomstoday on line and even them gave so many excuses. Never again!!!

The worse experience I have ever encountered as the order we had placed was not delivered to Savannah Georgia for our sons graduation. Stay away from this company period!

Gosh, i just ordered from them before I caught that they included «birds of prey» in their cut flowers. That is a little too depressing for someone in the hospital. Of course, a Bird of Paradise would carry similar connotations. I think I shall have them leave out all the Tweety Birds!

The nice women who helped me pick out the ideal flowers for Valentine’s Day were very helpful and accommodating, especially after I called back a couple of days later to change my card message, which they allowed, even though it meant digging back into the order records. Yet, at $ 75 for a bouquet and a box of chocolates, I feel the price was a little steep, hence the 4 stars. But otherwise, the arrangement was very pretty!

I received a most beautiful bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day from Kui & I! It took my breath away! The flowers are fresh and beautifully arranged, and there are buds that are blooming right before my eyes. You made my day!

Had a destination wedding in Kona for a friend, emailed back and forth with Kui to plan, design, and organize the flowers, leis, and centerpieces. She followed it up with a few phone calls, and they came out better than perfect. Had them delivered, the delivery guy was punctual, polite, and friendly. Flowers lasted several days, even the centerpieces we had out for a couple days on the tables after the fact.
Kui is amazingly friendly, and never even blinked when we added extras the week before (even though it was Mother’s Day weekend). Highly recommend for local and out of towners looking for expert assistance.
Just a note, I am very picky about flowers for any occasion, and not easily pleased. Kui went above and beyond even my expectations.

Gorgeous displays and the flowers seem to last longer than the other places in town. I think they are freshly picked and arranged right away so they don’t sit around for a week waiting for someone to buy them. My birthday arrangement no joke lasted 3 weeks and it was beautiful. They are really really pricey but if you need a solid beautiful gift you can’t go wrong with their flowers.

The worker was nice enough to send me pictures to my phone so i could see what kind of flower arrangements they had. i haven’t seen the flowers yet its not being sent til valentines day but was super happy with their service over the phone.

ALL the flowers for my wedding were provided by Kui… bridal party bouquets, leis for my family members, center pieces, decorations for the ceremony and even the fresh flowers on the wedding cake. It took up quite a bit from the wedding budget but completely worth every penny!

The best cut flowers in the US, for the money. For about $ 85, you get fresh orchids, birds of prey and other tropical flowers sent to any location on the mainland at half the price! They are reliable, consistent and super easy to work with.
