A TERRIFIC one stop shop for your vehicle! The owner/​manager — Berry — is familiar with my husband’s health issues now for the past two years and has been so helpful! Much of what my husband used to take care of in the past, has now been left for me to deal with. Berry has made everything so easy for us. He has earned our trust so we no longer have to waste time shopping around when we need something for our vehicles. Not only will he try to get the lowest prices that he can, you get PROFESSIONAL & SUPERIOR CLIENT SERVICE! Their mechanics are approachable and super friendly, very knowledgeable and they take the time to explain what needs to be done now and what can wait, which is ultimately a lifesaver for us, given our situation. I can’t stress enough how nice Berry and his staff have been to our family. We were really impressed and touched when he sent a personalized note inquiring on my husband’s progress and status. You just don’t get that type of service and attention anywhere else! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! Of course, no one wants to spend money on their cars, but it’s part of life and it’s comforting to know we have someone looking out for us and most important, is very HONEST, which you can’t put a price on nowadays. I had an engine light that came on my Audi A8 while on vacation. Knowing this could be an expensive event and that I was at the mercy of local shops in a high cost area, I immediately went to Unilocal to see what others had experienced in the area.
There were 4 reviews on Island Tire — North End and all of them were good, so I decided to give it a shot.
I walked in and described my problem to John at the reception desk. He didn’t hesitate to get up, go get the diagnostic computer and walk with me to the car.
In a matter of minute, he delivered the news that it was not a significant issue — in fact, it was one that I already knew about from my mechanic in Atlanta who and was not urgent (my mechanic in Atlanta has already ordered the part).
John then thanked me for stopping by and when I asked how much I owed him, he said «nothing». Wow, I arrived expecting to fork out a handsome sum of money and left with all I had come with.

Great quality fast service, the people were very knowledgable and experienced. My girlfriend and I were visiting from charleston, SC and on our way out we had a flat. They showed us why the tire needed to be replaced and where it was damaged. I highly recommend this place, left very satisfied.

After taking my BMW Z4 to Hilton Head BMW and being treated like the village idiot by the Service Center Manager and General Manager, I decided I had to find another place to get service and work done on my car.
Enter Island Tire — North End. After some research, I decided to give them a try to change the breaks on my car.
They did a fantastic job and took me out to the car to show me why they needed to done and explain to me the issues with the brakes. Their service team was on-​top of getting the parts ordered and the work was done on-​time at the cost stated.
My husband decided to have both front /​back brakes done at the same time because he was so satisfied with their initial consultation.
My husband has even commented that the car is riding and driving much better!
Price — excellent. Quality of work — fantastic. Service — amazing.
My only regret is that I can not give them more than 5 stars! Great job to the whole team.

Here’s the situation… Visiting HHI for the holiday and 12 hours into the drive and .5 miles from the parents’ house when BAM KLANG POW!!!, a pothole like Cleveland has never seen just about rips the front-​end off of the trusty family truckster. Upon further inspection, the wheel is OK, but the tire has a sidewall bulge.
Day after x-​mas, make a few calls, nobody has the oddball tire size in stock and delivery ranges from «sometime tomorrow» to «hope you packed an extra bag.».
Well, except for Mike and the Island Tire crew… Mike offered to have a courier pick-​up an early delivery from the warehouse and call me when the new treads were in. Like clockwork, the tires were on (perfect balance on the 800-​mile ride home, btw) and i was set to go by Noon the day after a holiday.
Yeah, some places might have been a bit cheaper if i had the luxury of time, but hat’s off to Mike and his gang for treating me like the most important customer ever… On my (likely) only visit.
Super service and a quality work, what more could I ask for?
