Business Owner

I was born and raised in the Greater Rochester Metropolitan Area and have been involved with residential real estate appraising for over 30 years. I graduated from Delhi State University with an Associates Degree in Building Construction. My first job was with a local bank (First Federal Savings and Loan) where I inspected new construction for building loan draws. This led me into learning how to appraise residential property. During my career at the bank I earned my SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute. I also earned my approval from FHA/​HUD. In 1990 I left the bank to become the manager of a large residential appraisal company located on Rochester, New York. In 1996 I left there to start Coffey Appraisal Services, Inc.
