I’m not really sure what’s been going on with communication between techs, but I have scheduled THREE different appointments to come address the issue with my old washer that I wish my landlord would just replace. Tech came over today and said it was a different part needed, and he «didn’t know what the other guy was thinking.» I don’t know what any of you are thinking! First it was this part, then no it’s this part, then another. It seems that it would take a minimum of two visits– one to diagnose, and then another to install the correct part. I am a patient and easy-going person, but this is getting a little outrageous. I’ve had a broken washer for over a month! It’s pretty hard to stay home for 4 hour windows during week days, which is why it’s been so spread out but this has been far too long. I really wish they could narrow it down to even 2 hour windows, or evening hours. People can’t sit around and wait all day, especially going on 4 visits. Ain’t nobody got time for that. The office people are very friendly and accommodating, as have the techs themselves. It’s just a total lack of communication between techs that is causing a pretty terrible experience.

AWFUL! Contacted this company because they were local and because they do same day service. No discussion occurred on rates, but they did show up in about 2 hours which was nice. Unfortunately, one of the repairmen was being extremely rude while I was explaining some regretted DIY-approaches, and when I confronted him about it, they decided to no longer do business and left.

My clothes dryer needed to be repaired, so I used 1st Call Appliance since they advertised same day service. I called in the morning and by noon the two technicians came, diagnosed the problem and repaired it within about an hour. Luckily they had the part. The price for repair appeared to be about the same as some of the other appliance repair outfits I’ve used in the past. Very satisfied with the quick service!

Awful! One word says it all. After being told that someone was coming out to fix my fridge they told me they don’t have the part… how do you know what part it is if you’ve never looked at the fridge? Just curious. Oh and another FYI they won’t take frigidaires warranties either so don’t even bother if its covered thru a warranty. Got hung up on everytime I called too.
