If you’re looking for your order to be screwed up or severely undercooked, then this is the place to go.

I have been to this 99 restaurant previously and i have to say that it was a great little chain restaurant. Service was nice they gave you FREEPOPCORN! Got a nice steak made ready to order. Would highly recommend going here, a great place for family and friends.

Went here on a busy Friday night expecting to wait forever, was sat immediately. Drinks took maybe 2 minutes to come to the table and the appetizer took less than ten. Soon after we finished the appetizer the main courses were right there, food was all great. Our waitress was also very polite and always there. Overall I’d say I’ll definitely come back and I was very impressed

We had a rehearsal dinner for my son and his fiancée here today, 8÷9÷15. This 99, unlike most, has a function room off to one side, which accomodated our party of 27 perfectly, I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It has been a favorite of ours for several years-good food, great service, cozy atmosphere-and they were so accomodating for the dinner. Terry, the facility manager, sat with us and walked us through the process of which food items to order, and how much of each, and showed us how the room would be organized. She quoted us a price which was at the bottom end of what my expectations were for the cost, and honestly, it was a bargain, given the food and drink items which were included. The waitress, Sam, who attended to us couldn’t have been nicer! I would recommend this 99 without reservation just for lunch or dinner, and for anyone looking for a venue for a special function, they can’t be beat! Kudos to Terry and her wonderful staff here!

We are never disappointed at the 99. The food is always good, always hot. The menu is extensive with something for every taste. The desserts are delicious! They always have my favorite wine, and the bartenders are funny and engaging. Prices are perfect, a little surprising for the quality of food. They could charge more.

Eh… not so good. First, there are no vegetarian options. I wanted pasta w/o the meat. Was told no. Odd. Then, I ordered nachos as my meal(because there are no main meatless entrees). No salsa… there was spaghetti sauce on them! It’s an ok place, but not worth the $$ for diner food that is so so.

This was a good place to drop in for a bite on the way to our destination. We were meeting a friend for dinner at Jake’s Seafood in Hull but arrived earlier than planned and we were starved. We saw this place, it looked so homey, well attended and loved that we thought we would stop for a bit. The food was good, for some sandwiches and wraps it totally hit the spot!

Let me start by saying that of the chain restaurant’s, 99 has not always been 1 of my favorites, but last few times I visited here food and service have been excellent Went there Saturday evening, and even though parking lot was full got seated pretty quickly. Wish I could remember the waitress name as she was great, made some excellent recommendations, was very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent, cooked as I requested, didn’t have dessert but did have the coffee, which I waited a few minutes for because she was brewing a fresh pot. Dining area and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Definitely recommend this location and will be returning here again

Food is always great, but I’m not sure where the attitude from the bartenders comes from. Went in with a few friends for drinks and apps, we sat at the bar. I got a 23oz draft beer that I waited almost ten minutes for and ordered some boneless buffalo wings. I finished the beer just as my food and came and I asked for another one. I got this one right away. Ate my food, drank my beer, and even had some of my friends bbq chicken flatbread which was very good. I finished my second beer and the bar tender asked me if I’d like another and I said yes. This time, I waited a few minutes and she came back with a 16oz beer. I didnt say anything, just drank my beer and was deciding how much I should tip her considering that yes it was the beer I ordered but the smaller size. I let go. When we were ready to go the bartender split our checks and when she handed me mine she said«dont say I never gave you anything». So I thought that the 16oz beer was on the house. When I looked at the bill the woman charged me for everything I had ordered. So this is when I got angry. I was not drunk, nor was I acting as if I was. She clearly gave me a smaller beer because she thought I was, and then acted as if she did me a favor. I love the 99 but I will never go back to this one because of it. I hope she enjoyed her 75 cent tip.

Definitely not as good as the Ninety Nine at exit 14 in Rockland. Very much a hit or miss, but mainly a miss.

Went here last night. When we went in we were told there would be a 10 — 15 minute wait. While I was waiting I went to the ladies room, as I walked through the dining room I counted 8 empty tables. When I came out two minutes later, they seated us in the other dining room which had at least 6 empty tables, while we didn’t really wait why did they say 10 — 15 minutes. We waited another 5 minutes for our server by this time we ordered our drinks and our food. We were never offered the standard popcorn, we had to ask for it. Both of us order salads… when they brought our entrees out we still had not gotten them. When I asked the waitress, who was not our original one where our salads where and why we hadn’t gotten them yet, she said«Oh did you want them first?» The food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible…

For family style chain restaurants, the Ninety-Nine always seems to stand out ahead of the pack. Better than most of it’s competitors, and this Gingham location is no exception. We were very promptly greeted by our server with complimentary popcorn and drink orders taken. I ordered the«All-Star Burger», which was a very juicy patty topped with lettuce, tomato, bacon, onions, and pickles. Very tasty. Fries were good, but pretty standard… nothing stood out about them. Same with the cole slaw… pretty standard. I wish they offered«double fries» instead of fries and a veggie like some other 99 locations do, and I wish they didn’t have the rule about not serving burgers any less than medium. But overall it’s a decent place where you can get a decent meal for a decent price.

My family, which includes a 9– and a 7-year-old, usually have good service and good food here, but I had to comment on the 99’s continued failure with nachos. The Irish nachos weren’t great, but at least they were edible. Their new Three Cheese Nachos are terrible! The queso is disgusting and ruins everything else. Sometimes less is more – this is a perfect case where the standard version of a dish suffices.

This is a good restaurant. Restaurant can be fast paced and on weekends there are many parties coming and going. The wait can be extensive at times however you can call ahead to get your name on a list. We ordered steak tips which were cooked as ordered and tasted good. Menu is very affordable. This restaurant serves their draft beer in frosted mugs up to 22 oz in size and the beer is very cold so that is a great combination. Waitstaff consists of mostly very young women who for the most part aim to please however due to the business at times there may be times when orders could become confused. We have never had a problem at this restaurant. Dining area is a good place for conversations as it does not play loud music and it has been generally quiet the times we were visiting. At times there may be children however one must consider that children are a part of life and people should consider that in a family restaurant they may be present. We recommend this restaurant for affordability and quality with eager to please service

The 99 is the only truly reliable chain in the area. I have never had a bad meal here, and the service is usually good at this location. If you don’t have kids, definitely eat at the bar, as it can get a bit noisy in the dining room(s), thanks to the wee ones.

Food is fine, the same at any other 99 restaurant. Good buffalo wings. There’s a great honey mustard chicken salad. The service at this particular 99 is usually pretty lacking. The last time I was there the waitress brought the wrong dish out to a member in my party(she brought out a fish fillet and the person had ordered a chicken sandwich) and seemed very confused when my friend explained the situation. That is when she returned 15 minutes after dropping off the food. She didn’t even walk by once for us to grab her attention. I haven’t had a mixed drink at this one, since the mixed drinks at the others at pretty weak(per company standards I’m told, not per particular bartenders).

Not really sure what happened, 99. You used to be pretty darn good. I think those young whipper-snappers you got workin’ there now are killin’ your biz. Luckily for you, you have plenty o’ experienced in years folks coming in to sit at your tables and overtip. Here is what I mean: my uncle doesn’t want soda spilled on him. My aunt shouldn’t be told that she asked for honey bbq sauce when 7 other people at the table clearly heard her ask for honey mustard. My uncle’s best friend shouldn’t have to wait until we are leaving to have someone ask for a box for the food he has left over. My steak tips should be medium, not half raw. If margaritas are the special of the day, it should be okay for the bartender to put at least 1 shot of tequila in the glass, right? I mean, come on 99! 99, you are one of my Nana and Pa’s fave eateries. They love the food. It is your reg’lar olé American pub-by food. It’s fine. My broccoli and cheddar soup was tasty. My Nana loved her chicken wrap. My uncle really liked his roast beef au jus sandwich, and our family friend really enjoyed his pasta with chicken. Even though my cousin did not enjoy the shrimp toscana(she was tricked into ordering it by the picture), the food was overall good. Well, my steak tips were partially rare which made for an interesting gum-like chewing and choking experience. But the mashed potatoes and gravy were great! 99, you are perfect for families whose children prefer to scream than eat(no one cares! It’s supposed to happen here!). It’s great for those folks who have a few years on a few of us. But 99, what is up with the service?! I mean, you have some good servers who have been serving for a VERY long time. Why can’t they take care of us and you make the young’uns go earn their stripes or some other idiom about doing hard work to gain experience by bringing the dishes out?! So, I understand why the server dropped the check to my grandparents; it was a shrewdly, capitalist move on her part. If I had not been math-stupid that day, I would’ve stopped my grandmother from putting a $ 25 tip on a $ 115 check — the server didn’t come back to say thanks. But I didn’t. 5 stars for family friendly + 8 stars for the wonderful older server who didn’t serve us but sat us — 20 stars for the younger server who clearly did not want to be there that day = 2 stars
