Business Owner

Janna the President of Catalina Soap Crafters began her line of natural soaps 3 years ago in her south shore home after having to discontinue full time employment due to a medical condition.

The fact that she is often times confined to a wheelchair yet never lets that stop her from trying to do things is inspiring. Her soaping was inspired by her love of handcrafts, she embraced the challenge of creating soaps for her sensitive skin and her picky husband. The name Catalina is from greek meaning pure. Its a perfect description for the products Jan makes. Jan devoted herself to researching the natural and organic ingredients that would be safe and effective yet still leaves everyones skin feeling great all over.

Over the years she has experimented with different scents and shapes and styles that, until now, had only been available to a small private clientele.
