Grace Children’s Academy

My family and I love Grace Children’s Academy. Both my son and daughter attend and they couldn’t be happier. I really appreciate the nurturing approach the teachers have to learning. My kids are very different, but the teachers know exactly how to connect with each of them– and they are both flourishing. Selfishly, I appreciate being able to drop off and pick up the kids without having to leave the car and I really love all of the families who attend the school. GCA also offers excellent enrichment classes through their Kaleidoscope program (from Spanish to Science and everything in between). I am confident my children will be more than prepared when they get to kindergarten. It’s a great preschool and I would highly recommend it.

Grace Children’s Academy allows us to completely customize our children’s schedules to support our family’s needs while giving our sons the best education available in the Western suburbs. Kaleidoscope classes, which we’ve taken both during the summer (se habla Espanol!) and during the school year, allow my Kindergartners to create a full day learning experience that builds on the skills they got at Grace Preschool and increases their confidence in Kindergarten. They love the Lunch Bunch and staying connected with pals they met in preschool who now attend different Kindergartens in the district. When our baby starts the 2s program in next Fall, I know GCA we’ll be able to coordinate his schedule with his big brother’s in order to minimize the time and hassle of getting the whole family in and out of the car. And when everyone is this excited about their classes at GCA, it’s a win-​win!

We love Grace Children’s Academy. My daughters are truly excited to go to preschool each day. GCA is a very nurturing school that educates the whole child. The curriculum meets the child at their level and ensures they blossom. Not only is the preschool programming fantastic, they also offer endless amazing courses throughout the day to keep your little one flourishing. The entire GCA community has been so warm and inviting. We highly recommend sending your child (ren) here!

As a full-​time working mom of two (2) kids (soon-​to-​be 3!), I look for a preschool that not only nurtures my children academically, but also socially and with a significant emphasis on safety. Grace Children’s Academy provides all of the above and more for my children, with a schedule that is ideal for both working and non-​working parents. The Academy even caters its morning start /​drop-​off to the train schedule so that every once in a while a working mom can be «Carpool Mom» and still make the train. My son and daughter are excited to go to school each day, and both love their teachers. The Directors are fantastic and have countless years of experience in spearheading preschool programming; most recently, the school hosted a «Colors Day» on a Saturday (teachers’ day off!) so (primarily) working parents (moms and dads alike) could come see a «day in the life» of their children: the devotion of the Directors and teachers to the students is incredible, and the accessibility (phone, email) of the Directors and Teachers provides a connection that is so important and valuable (especially to a mom traveling to downtown Chicago each day). The Academy also offers «enrichment» programming like reading, science, math, and even foreign languages that are second to none in the area. I highly recommend Grace Children’s Academy for both preschool and enrichment programming!
