The RE/MAX Northern Illinois region was founded in 1977. It was one of the first regions in the RE/MAX organization.
RE/MAX Northern Illinois grew from 20 Sales Associates in 1977, to 2,100 in 2014. It was the first RE/MAX Region in the United States to have more than 1,000 agents. Currently, it is one of the largest RE/MAX Regions by population in the United States, even though it is one of the smallest geographically.
The continued success of RE/MAX Northern Illinois during the past 30 years can be attributed to the company’s aggressive expansion and the professional caliber of the agents it attracts.
RE/MAX offices in the Northern Illinois Region have led the Chicago Metropolitan area real estate market each year since 1989. In 2013, the network closed more than 40,000 transactions. The Northern Illinois Region is part of the RE/MAX, LLC, network, which operates on six continents and in 90 countries.
