I debated between 1 and 2 stars, and I went with 2 purely based on portion size and price. The by the scoop stuff is okay. It’s standard Chinese restaurant fair. The sushi is awful though! I didn’t expect 5 star sushi for $ 3.75 in a strip mall in Hiram, but this was bad even considering those facts. The rice had absolutely no seasoning in it all. No vinegar, no salt, no sugar. No amount of soy sauce and wasabi(the weakest wasabi I’ve ever had) could have helped it in the slightest.

This is the kind of place you go to when you don’t feel like cooking and don’t want to spend $ 20 for a quick meal… or got really high and all of Hiram and Powder Springs shut down, but yet this place is still open. They charge $ 1 per scoop(maybe $ 1 and some change… or $ 0.50? I can’t remember — it’s so cheap that you don’t even notice). There are a decent selection of food at the counter that you choose from which qualify for these«scoops» or you can opt to order from the menu at regular price. I’ve never ordered from the menu. Every time we go, I see a Sushi special but it’s your typical California rolls, etc. I would probably never try their sushi because… well…yeah…this is a fast food joint. Now to the dollar a scoop food(that’s all we ever order when we go). Because I stick to low carb, meat and veggies are always my to go option. My first couple of visits, I got the beef and broccoli, pepper beef, Japan chicken(which is like a fried teriyaki chicken I think), and chicken and broccoli(notice the veggie intake there). My husband, ordered everything orange and sweet. Sweet and sour, orange chicken, orange looking chicken, honey covered meat. Yeah, he’s that guy. Considering the fact that this is fast food, and sitting under a hot light, in a pan, behind a glass, where people are peaking over and ordering — I knew better than to expect a gourmet experience. But oh wait, when we received the total of our bill? Less than a $ 8 for a pile of various meats? I walked out like I stole something. Ok…so we get home, anxious to try this discounted dinner, and was shocked that it was actually pretty good. The meat and broccoli combos could be seasoned a bit more, but for $ 1 my expectation wasn’t too high. The pepper chicken is good, unless it falls into the juices left by other meat, then… you know. But the Japan chicken is my favorite. I order it every time. Overall, it really isn’t that bad. Not better than other options in the area, but for the price, you really can’t beat it. So again, if you’re looking for high quality takeout, then this is not the place. But if you need a quick lunch or dinner and are tight on money, I say come here. You really can’t go wrong.

2nd Visit and I found a piece of pan material in my food! Something extremely hard that could have broken my tooth! I will never go here again! You get what you pay for and being so cheap… I see how something like this could happen!

This place is awesome! $ 1 for a huge scoop of food. The wife and I eat here for a total of $ 15 including drinks and tax! Its a buffett type thing and you choose what you want and they put a huge scoop of it on your plate! The food always taste great and they also offer hibachi and sushi as well.

Fantastic value! $ 1 per large scoop of a selected number of standard Chinese dishes. Scoop of fried rice, orange chicken, General Tso’s, and veggies $ 4! Extremely quick! Be warned, if you actually order food, then expect to wait 10 – 15 minutes for order to cook. Dinning area nothing special.
