The Columns At Hiram Apartments

We chose the Columns because they had the 3 month lease option and we were in the middle of house hunting so it was perfect. The neighbors right next door were great and friendly. When we moved in the apartment was dirty and the floors had stains plus there was a strange smell in the guest bathroom we couldn’t get rid of and the rest of the apartment smelled stuffy and as if the previous tenants smoked. We lived on the first floor and the sound proofing was awful! I could hear the upstairs neighbors every footstep, every drawer open, every cabinet close, the dishwasher, the washer and dryer, when they used the restroom. We had to watch our tv with the volume very loud just to hear over the noise. We have lived in several apartments before and the noise level was never this bad. The outdoors is quiet and peaceful but that’s about it. Most of the lights didn’t work and the bedrooms required lamps. Not to mention all the bugs inside!
