Went last night and actually had a good time. We actually were going to Room84(right up the street) but that was a mess… Anyway Lounge200 had great music, the bartender we had was very friendly. The prices are fairly reasonable. There is a $ 5 cover charge for ladies if your’e not on the guest list and it’s before 12. There’s also a $ 2 coat check fee. The crowd is very diverse, which is a good thing. Oh, if driving there, be sure to give yourself an extra hour to find parking .I drove around for about half hour but found a space literally in front of the lounge so that was worth it … Unless you want to pay for parking in one of the lots(we checked out a lot that was nearby, but it was full). Overall, had a good time, the place is cozy but small … There’s a small area for dancing … The name says it all. IT’S A LOUNGE. HADANAWSOMETIMETHOUGH.

Ive been here once and had a great time. The atmosphere was great, all bottle service and the music was awesome. Went there last night and had a completely different experience. We were the only ones in the place getting bottle service. There were a bunch of college kids who looked underage. There were a slew of what I’d have to call prostitutes basically getting railed on the dance floor. This was so disgusting and disturbing my friends and I had to leave. Never will go back here ever.

Looks like an ugly living room. The bar is really small and slow. At 11 pm few people were dancing… but mostly just lurking along the walls. Fog machines… really?

This place is an overpriced dimly lit charade. It’s not a pleasant bar for people to network, talk, or do anything but fork over large amounts of cash for a poorly poured mixed drink. You can’t see anything — and if you investigate — it’s on purpose. You ride a crappy elevator ride up to the main lobby and walk into a room that looks like it should be for a Bar Mitzvah. Then you hug the wall because you can’t see anything and don’t want to run into anything. This place totally sucks. There is no activity and the location is horrible. If you really are that night-club type of person go to New York.

Had an awful experience here last night for New Years Eve. But i’ll give both sides of the story: PROS: 1– Laura Leigh was there. Google her. 2– If you like house music this place dumps it until your ears bleed, its sick — my ears are still ringing CONS: 1– The manager spit on a patron after a dispute over Tutta Pasta appetizer sampling that he promised but did not follow up with. 2– There were cups of vomit all along the walls. 3– I have never seen so many immature, drunk, loud frat kids in my life. 4– One person was injured so badly during a scuffle he said afterward he would probably need shoulder surgery. Recommendation: DONOTGOHERE!

To start off, it’s located right above a Tutta Pasta Restaurant and right under a Rehab place, so I was pretty confused as to whether the flashing lights and disco ball was from the Rehab place or what. It’s only when I saw the sign 200 lounge peeking out from the side of the building that I realized there wasn’t a Rehab party. Anyyyyway. The cover price is pretty reasonable — $ 5 for the ladies, $ 10 for guys(I don’t know if that’s only until 12 but I got in before 12 and that’s the price it was at that point). Coat check is $ 4. The actual dance floor, located on the 2nd floor, is veryyy small and can get pretty hot and crowded on a Saturday night. But, nice couches and lighting for a nice ambiance. The lower level is a restaurant called Tutta Pasta which gets magically converted to a dance floor at some point. No one really ends up going down there which sucks because there’s a relatively larger space to shake your groove thang. Drinks are relatively expensive — about $ 10 bucks for a cup of Long Island Iced Tea. Probably cheap for some, but depends on your budget, I guess. DJ’s choice of music was to my liking — good selection of techno, rap/hip hop, and even some dub in there once in a while. Also, very diverse crowd who knew how to keep from bumping into everyone else too often, which was great. After a few drinks, you’ll love the place and forget about how crowded it is. Before a few drinks, you might get claustrophobic. The ladies’ room was way too small — only 2 stalls(or max 3, I can’t remember HAHA)! When a girl’s gotta go, she’s gotta go! Build some more stalls, puhleeze! But, all in all, had a pretty nice time for the price. Can’t complain. Went here instead of Lana Lounge just based on a random change of mind. Was pleased overall. Wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up here again.

Two story frat party converted from tutta pasta… very small drinks, expensive, and too loud, all for 10 dollar cover. Skip it.

They need to keep this place under control more. I live beside it and the people that just hang out by this place all night are the worst. The bouncer does nothing out side to control them. They scream all night. Almost every Friday and Sat night I walk by I see the scum coming out from club literally taunting and insulting passer bys for no reason. They act like 3rd graders that have no manners or respect for their surroundings. Then I have to listen to them walk by place kick my trash cans, throw garbage and pee in my stairwell. Its funny because when I come out to say something I always get the same reaction. They tell me I must be racist or something. No I am not racist, I don’t like people peeing on my stairwell or destroying my plants and other personal property. This is not an isolated incident but goes on every week. Really guys learn how to control your club I’m getting sick of it.

Went here on a Friday night to check it out, but wasn’t too impressed. It’s much smaller than I was expecting, only one room with a small dance floor surrounded by private seating and a small bar. It seems to be a perfect place for private parties, but we showed up just to dance and it wasn’t what we were looking for. Great lighting and sound and the décor is classy. It might get better later on at night, but there was nowhere we could sit because it was so small. Usual cover, $ 5 girls and $ 10 guys. I wouldn’t go here if I was looking for a club, but it’s definitely worth checking out for bottle service and reserved tables.

I recently celebrated a birthday here and overall the place is nice. When you look for the place, you have to take an elevator up to «officially» get to the lounge. There’s a large array of couches and as the previous reviewer mentioned, the music and lighting sync up with each other and give you a light show that’s worth experiencing. Waitresses are attentive. The genre of music played that night was house and the crowd was quite guido-fied but overall, I had a great time with me and my friends.

Probably the newest lounge in Hoboken, 200 Lounge does a great job setting an atmosphere. The DJ had a playlist and the lighting in the whole room changes with the music. 200 Lounge is only open Thursday through Saturday night. It spends the rest of its time in its secret identity of Tutta Pasta’s 2nd dining area. This doesn’t affect the night’s its open at all though. You can either get here from the stairs through Tutta Pasta or the elevator on 2nd street. I’m pretty sure they prefer you use the elevator. When I went I couldn’t use the elevator on the street level and had to walk up some stairs to get inside. However the main stairway is NOT an entrance as that door is locked. That was a little confusing since we were the first crowd for a Thursday night open bar. But I gotta say if you are looking for a lounge scene, want your private table, and are ready to start up some bottle service, you need to check this place out. My advice: get their early and get that table.
