History

Established in 2010.

35-Minute Boot Camps started out as Hoboken Boot Camps. Our first classes started in the parks of Hoboken NJ back in 2010. Within a years time we went from holding classes in the parks of Hoboken to calling the Monroe Center our new Home. Back in October 2012 35-Minute Boot Camps got lost it studio to Hurricane Sandy and had to move to a temp space on the second floor of The Monroe Center. Now see the light at the end of the tunnel we are excited to be moving to our new studio in the Fall of 2014.

Meet the Business Owner

David C.

Business Owner

What does a kid growing up in Brooklyn do if he wants to work out and can’t afford to join a gym? If that kid is David Cabral, he not only builds his own gym but, in the process, creates an entirely new approach to exercise which, years later, will change the way the country looks at getting and staying physically fit.

David Cabral has mastered turning obstacles into opportunities. He discovered his passion for exercise during that Brooklyn childhood. When he realized that there would be no gym membership and no trainer, he turned his apartment into personal workout studio. «I had to be creative. I had to invent my own equipment and my own exercise routine»,

And invent he did. Everyday household items became his exercise equipment. One gallon, plastic milk containers filled with sand became dumbbells. Tossing stones back and forth in the yard and carrying heavy bags of laundry became part of his daily exercise routine.
