City of Hoboken

Winter weather is fun for once minute until you have to go outside and instantly turn into an ice cube…
Been in Hoboken a few times now… it’s good time as ever to write a review about the area… It’s nice… I wish The area had more parking lots… Very limited to street parking… Literally takes you a good hour just to park and walk around the neighborhood… Hoboken is mostly yuppies… and cute historical buildings… It has it’s own little shopping area with a lot of bars and restaurants… Plus the PATH is right there… so it’s only like 15 minutes to get to Manhattan…（￣ c￣）

Hoboken is a town that has undergone a ton of changes in its history. From its role in the creation of the Federal Reserve (the train carrying the bankers who created it left the Terminal), On the Waterfront to Hurricane Sandy… this town has played a role in lots of history. Oh and that Frank Sinatra guy… whoever he is :-D
Living here is awesome but the lack of parking is insanely annoying for visitors. Mass Transit is my friend, let’s put it that way. In my humble opinion we have the best waterfront views in the state… but are packed in here like cheap sardines. Our idiot to cool human ratio is dwindling rapidly, however most idiots come to visit and thankfully aren’t here during the day.
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son. I think many many young folks here could heed that advice… especially the last two. At least it’s only late night on the weekends. During the day, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be!

Blue collar town turned upscale yuppie town. Everyone somehow works in finance. World Trade Center stop is a best friend to Hobokenites.

8. There is an actual uptown and Downtown here.

11. Non Hudson county people love Hoboken, Jersey City residents ask why do
you live there, and New Yorkers say «I am not taking the path to visit you!»
Bunch of bars to drink at think college town, worse thing that can happen to you is a frat guy will regurgitate on your $ 4,000.00 puppy

Take a small, idyllic town of brownstones on the Hudson River and unleash onto it a wave of salivating condo developers.
The parking is cruel and weekend crowds even worse. The Path trains are slow and the buses infrequent.
Still, underneath all the noise and luxury-​loft sheen, there’s an impressive manhattan view and what’s likely the busiest (and best) main drag in the state.

great place to live… great bars… great restaurants… great location to nyc… horrible parking. that is quick summarization of good ol’hoboken.
