I use this place as my primary care facility. Couldn’t be happier. Never waited more than 10 minutes. It’s a very personal, cozy place without the clustered feel of the old school primary care doctor’s offices. Very efficient and CLEAN.
The most important thing about this place is that I never felt rushed or felt that my visit was squeezed into a preset time frame, but at the same time it can be a quick visit if you wanted it to be.
Dr. Islam was my doctor and he is very smart in terms of medicine and socially as well. He’s a funny guy and makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. He did all the appropriate tests I needed, and even called me after to update me free of charge — saving me a second trip. He really cares.
The staff is happy to work there, they are efficient and receptive without that «i hate my job» attitude. They seem well taken care of and work together well.
I strongly recommend this place for all, and I am looking to transfer my family members to this practice as well. Your health is not an area to skimp on.

Billing is HORRENDOUS. Called these people day, after day, after day and nobody ever answered the phone. FINALLY got someone to process my payment and months later I get a letter saying they never bothered to withdraw the money from my FSA. Now that the new year has passed, that FSA money has been forfeited. Because of their incompetence, I now have to pay DOUBLE. The doctors may be nice, but save yourself the trouble and find an office with a competent billing department.

I’ll keep this brief… fast and quick medical care = poor results. 3 issues in the past 7 months
Issue 1: had poison ivy and was given oral steroids… was told I should see improvement in a few days… did not and went to dermatologist… turned out the dosage wasn’t close to strong enough for my case of poison ivy… wasted 4 days of recovery while the rash continued to spread through blood stream.
Issue 2: had a sinus infection… was prescribed medication… was told it should clear up in a few days… never did… had to make appointment with family care doctor and was told this wasn’t the right prescription for the infection…
Issue 3: flu like symptoms (pneumonia is also very similar)…doctor listened to chest with stethoscope and diagnosed with flu… given Tamiflu… was told should see improvement in 2 days… called back and told them I still had fever… instructed to give it another day… day 3 no improvement… went to ER and got chest xray… had pneumonia… lost 3 days of recovery… the pneumonia should have been picked up from stethoscope examination… that’s rudimentary medical school stuff.
Amateur hour at Prompt MD… lost my business.

Fast reliable service. Dr. Primiani is very attentive to your needs and is very informed as to the nature of your ailment. Her assistant was also very professional. I felt very comfortable visiting this office. The wait time wasn’t too long and the office was very clean. If you want straight forward professional service and advice then this is the place for you.

I really wish I could give no stars to this doctors office. I’m a busy person, too busy really to be writing this, so if that says anything…
I should have know not to make an appointment with Dr. Primiani when the receptionist told me, in a peeved voice, to call them back later. «Why? I’m on the phone with you right now.» So she makes the well visit appointment I asked for, begrudgingly. I should have walked out when I got to the office when the patient before me is upset and saying it was supposed to be a well visit and the reception it rolls hers eyes at me. I don’t even know this receptionist why does she think I would collude with her over another patient? Whatever, I needed a physical and some medication renewals and my old doctor was now out of plan and my choices were limited.
The office, I realized was in the site of a former day spa I use to frequent. The importance of this is that they did nothing to modify the offices. Tiny, no room for a chair even, barely two people. Most importantly they didn’t put in soundproofing so I could hear every last detail of the patient in the room next to me. I kept my voice low. The nurse took my blood pressure with my legs dangling off the exam table because there was no pullout ledge for my feet and again no chair. You’re not supposed to have legs dangling because it not an accurate read. Then she proceeds to take a very cursory medical history on a series of post it notes on her clip board. Nice. The doctor was ok but when she asked me if I had my vitamin D tested and I told her yes and the level was very good, she replied, «You should take vitamin D.»? Ok, I tell her the medications I needed to get renewed and asked about referral procedures as I would need a referral to my eye doctor in the future for a scan of my eye. Also mentioned I had dry eye but I was good with that.
Then I go to pay and they tell me $ 40. I say no it’s a well visit, they say «We don’t have a code for well visits.» Really, I’m a medical professional and I know there are codes for well visits AKA a physical. They say it’s not a physical because they didn’t do any tests. Well I scheduled a physical (well visit) how am I supposed to know that, they should. They then proceed to be very difficult to me just as they had been with the previous patient who had the same complaint. I pay the $ 40
Then I get a statement from my insurance company saying they won’t pay it because the doctor put down she treated me for an eye condition, something she can’t and didn’t treat me for as she is not an opthamologist. She didn’t even put down the right code for what I told her I would need a referral for. She put the code for dry eye. She never even looked at or touched my eye, I was just told the procedure for referrals. My insurance said to contact the doctors office and have that taken off, they refused so I ended up having to pay another $ 70.12.
This took me 30 minutes of my time to write and I’m glad it’s the last 30 minute I have to spend on these people ever

I have been sick for the past four weeks. I have been to multiple doctors. None have satisfied me more than the care and expertise I received today from Dr. Primiani.
I have been to a doc-​in-​the box before and have not received great service, so I was a little nervous to go to PromptMD (although I really had no choice since my decision to go was last minute). I am so impressed with the facility and office staff that I am going to recommend them to everyone who needs urgent care. In fact, my grandmother paid them a visit today after hearing about my experience.
From the young lady at the front desk to the assistant Mel (who had awesome hair and tattoos), I felt very comfortable and welcome. Mel made me feel at ease before I even saw the doctor.
When I met Dr. Primiani, I immediately felt like I was in good hands. Her bedside manner is fantastic. She listened to my history of illness (which has been CRAZY in the past year and half) with patience and empathy. I did not feel rushed, and I did not feel like I was ‘just another patient.’ Dr. Primiani asked thoughtful questions that covered multiple areas of my symptoms. It wasn’t just «This is what you have, here’s some medicine, goodbye!» Dr. Primiani explained what was happening and why it was happening, and also discussed some options to prevent it in the future. I could tell she wanted the examination to be thorough, and I have a feeling she pays this much care to all patients to come to her.
Overall, I give the ladies at PromptMD Family Care — Hoboken two big thumbs way, way up. No one likes being sick, but when I do get sick I want to come here again (no offense to my regular internist, who is also wonderful)!

I made a very smart choice today by taking advantage of PromptMD’s walk in services. The staff is friendly and knows their business. The pleasant receptionist provided me with a simple information sheet and I saw Dr. Primiani, within 15 minutes of my «walk-​in.» The med-​tech who took vital information during my exam, was very informative and complete. Dr. Primiani was very knowledgeable and provided me with help and information about my condition, (bronchitis) as well as preventive measures I could take advantage of. I felt very confident with her diagnosis I would use this service again.
