I wish I could review Daniele separately, she definitely deserves a 5 stars. She did a wonderful job on color correcting my hair after some other stylist from this same salon fuck** it up the day before! She was very patient and took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I asked for. I will surely come back to her.

This review is a few weeks late but I think it says a lot that it has still been in the back of my mind to make sure that I write it! I am very picky with my hair color and had been avoiding getting it done since moving to Hoboken with fear that I would be furious if it came out badly. Regis salon (specifically Raúl) put my fears to rest. The pictures say everything. His coloring techniques are impeccable. I highly recommend him for any services as I feel like his skills are beyond most. He cut my hair exactly how I like it without even having to tell him. The rest of the staff was also super friendly and inviting. So thankful I found my go-​to salon!

Regis Salon is probably one of the few salons left in Hoboken that is professional and most importantly affordable!
Ladies it’s no secret that Hoboken salons charge now as if they were in NYC. Not doubting that the finished product will be beautiful but spending over $ 250 for a cut and color sometimes hurts the pockets.
For roughly $ 149 you can get yourself a full head of color, cut, wash, and blow dry. That’s a bargain if coming to Hoboken and want your hair done by professionals who know their stuff which brings me to my favorite part about Regis and why I have been coming here for the last 10 years… Gina.
Gina is the salon manager and the only person I will let touch my hair since our first encounter. She has taken care of my hair all these years whether it was going dark or light, full or half highlights, cut or let grow, and most importantly she dealt with my wedding. I have recommended her to so many friends and family and they always say the same thing «I love Gina!» I’m sure if you give her a shot you’ll say the same thing. Tell her Nicole sent you. ;)

Raul has mad skills. I walked in hoping for a quick trim, which can be dicey. He did a fantastic job, and I’ll definitely go back. Thanks, Raul!

A couple days back… I got a bob (my first) and some highlight by the amazing Hellena. She took extra care to make sure that everything was up to the mark. She was patient and heard me out and the results are awesome! I am loving my new cut.

I’ve been coming to Helena for almost two years now. She is fast and efficient but takes the time to understand what you want in a haircut. She also remembers little details, making it an overall great experience.

I’ve been looking for an affordable place to get a good haircut in Hoboken for some time and found just that at Regis. Vera cuts my hair, and she does a great job and goes above and beyond to make my hair look awesome. Definitely recommend using this salon.

I went for my very first appointment today with Raul and had an amazing experience. I got a balayage ombré and I absolutely love it. I went in with a couple pictures of what I wanted and Raul made it even better. He knew exactly what to do and what color to use that would work best for me. Not only did he do a fantastic job on my hair, but he gave me advice on how to keep my hair looking great. Definitely recommending to all my friends! Thanks Raul!!!

I went to see Becky for highlights, toner and a cut on Saturday. My experience was wonderful! Becky listened to exactly what I wanted and did a great job on my hair. It looks so fresh and natural, which is exactly what I asked for. Regis is also reasonably priced! I will definitely be back to visit Becky and I recommend going if you’re in need of highlights and a cut!

Raul Garcia Jr is the best stylist I’ve ever seen.
Being a dude i don’t really mind what my hair turns out to be as long as it’s cut, for the most part.
Immediately the first time I had Raul cut my hair, he went above and beyond what i was expecting. He trimmed my beard using a straight razor and made it super clean.
The haircuts are out of this world. For what you pay for a mens cut is cheap for what you get with Raul. In perfect honesty his work is incredible and i should be paying double what it costs. I’ve lost all of my desire to go anywhere else.
It’s a haircut, sure, but I’ve never experienced such a fantastic haircut. It’s truly incredible. :-D

Came here yesterday for a haircut and an ombré balayage with Raul, and I could not be happier! It was, by far, the BEST experience I’ve ever had in a salon so far. Raul is incredibly professional, artistic, and talented. He gave me a very thorough consultation prior to the procedure that made me feel really comfortable, which isn’t easy to do, as I can be pretty high strung and nervous when it comes to my hair. Since it was my first time getting an ombré balayage, I brought in some pictures to give a better understanding of what I wanted it to look like, and Raul made it look BETTER than the pictures. He is truly a genius, and it is very evident that he is so passionate about his profession. He really takes pride in his work. My hair looks the best it’s ever looked, thanks to him. I would definitely recommend Regis and Raul to anyone looking for high quality services for very fair prices.

Love this salon. You must make an appointment with Raul, he is the best of the best! He always exceeds my expectations! I recommend him to everyone I know. He does exactly what I want and knows what’s best for my hair. Ive had my hair cut by other hair stylist at different salons and they always cut way too much so I stopped going to salons for a long time but I met him and I now trust him completely with my hair and I know he will never ruin it! He always leaves my hair looking absolutely fabulous. I Couldnt ask for a better hair stylist!

Best hair stylist goes to Raul!!! He’s the only one that will manage your hair the way you want it! Coming from a picky person I can say I honestly trust him. He has the soft touch! A hidden treasure in Hoboken. Danielle Hawk has been my stylist for 6 years now. I currently live in NYC, but always jump on the PATH to get a trim and highlights. Amazing talented stylist… I always walk away happy!

I had a wonderful experience today with Hellena at Regis Salon. I am very particular about my hair; she kept her promise of not cutting too much length off and did a perfect cut by adding the long layers I had requested. My cut and style was identical to the photo that I showed her. Hellena was very sweet and has been a stylist for over 23 years. She is one of the most skilled stylists who has ever done my hair! Will definitely be going back. The only pitfall was the parking ticket I received outside the salon, as the «No Parking at All times» sign was hidden and the «2 hour parking» sign had an arrow facing the wrong direction! The price of the wash, cut, and blow dry was very reasonable. Thank you Hellena for a great cut!

First let me start by saying that I do not ever take the time to write reviews, so the fact that I am writing this one says wonders about my experience with Daniele at Regis Salon.
I always thought of Regis’s as a Hair Cuttery or something like that and never really thought to go to one. I read such great reviews on here, that I decided to make an appointment. I asked for Daniele as I had read an especially great review on her. She said she would stay late for my appointment (much appreciated Daniele, thank you!), since I could not come in much earlier due to work, so I already had a great feeling about her.
When I went in for my appointment, I showed her one of the many hair inspiration pictures I had trying to explain what I wanted. Being that my hair is very fine and used to be extremely damaged, I am overly cautious with what I do to it, and am not willing to sacrifice style over the quality of my hair. She was very honest and open with me and told me whether or not the things I was asking her to do would complete destroy my hair, which I appreciated because it showed she genuinely cared and wasn’t just concerned with making an extra 30 bucks for additional processes. I told her to use her best judgement and do what she thought was the best option for my hair, while trying to stick as close to the style I had chosen as possible.
Daniele took her time in ensuring the highlight was put as close to the root as possible (to avoid the, «already grown out for two weeks look») and made sure the color sat just long enough to come up, but not so long that my hair became over processed. She gently hand combed through my hair when rinsing the color, so as not to break or pull my fine hair, and was just as gentle when brushing out back in the chair.
The end result was absolutely beautiful and looks just as great as the day I got it done (a week has passed since I have gotten my hair done). Despite my fears, the condition of my hair, while slightly drier than before highlighting, is great and super healthy looking/​feeling, and I couldn’t be happier! Thanks so much, Daniele, for your attention to detail and genuine care and concern for my hair. I should also mention that Daniele is very friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable trusting her with my hair (which is no easy fête for me). I will definitely be back and while I can’t speak for the rest of the stylists, my experience with Daniele and Regis Salon was nothing less than stellar.

I came here out of desperation after deciding to try boxed color on my hair and turning it a horrifying shade of orange. Other salons had a weeklong wait but I got into Helena on a moments notice. She instantly got to work, highlighting, toning, and lowlighting my self-​made disaster. After chopping off five dead inches and creating layers out of my flat frizzy mess I felt like a new woman! And the best part of all: it was a quarter of the costs of other places. Only one star off because the atmosphere isn’t all that inspiring.

I visit my boyfriend every month in Jersey and on one such visit, I decided I wanted to get brown highlights in my jet black hair. A friend recommended Regis to me and I looked up Unilocal to see if there were any stylists I could ask for. There was a really good review for Becky, and I decided to go with her. Boy, am I glad! I cannot say this enough times, but BECKY IS AWESOME!!!
I’d seen bad highlights before and was terrified I would end up like that. But Becky was super patient with me — she explained the process, answered my zillion questions, and put me at ease quickly. I had a shade in mind that wouldn’t show too much through the black and I told Becky that was what I was going for — really subtle highlights. And believe me when I tell you she gave me the exact same shade of highlights — all I had taken in was a lousy picture in my antique phone.
But the really awesome part is how she doesn’t shove products or services down your throat just to make money. Becky only tells you about the stuff you really need, is upfront about the price (she even found me a lower priced shampoo than the one I was looking for!), and NEVER pushes you to buy anything. There are salons in Austin where I live, but she is the reason I time my visits with when I need my highlights touched up — I don’t want to let anybody else touch my hair!
Oh, and super-​impressive haircuts — just the right length and just the right look I was going for. Becky, my boyfriend thinks you’re amazing — as do I :)
