The décor is cute. The service is subpar for a starbucks. This is our neighborhood starbucks and we always seem to have problems. One morning I went in for a croissant and coffee. The coffee was fine but I asked for the croissant not warmed and they delayed the order to warm it. After I realized they were probably warming it — I reminded them I didn’t want it warmed and they took it out of the warmer half done so I ended up with the half warmed croissant(worst of both worlds) — was running late for work so didn’t have time to complain any further about it. Other times, our coffee is burnt or they put too much hazelnut syrup for regular coffee with hazelnut syrup. The consistency of starbucks doesn’t resonate with this place. I have been trying to avoid going here much because of my experiences.

Best architecture, and cozy comfortable feeling Starbucks. When I am in Hoboken for an appointment, I always stop by here before or after… usually that is not around rush hour… I love the beautiful look from the outside and the warm feeling on the inside. It’s not large, and seating is limited to some cozy tables and seats in the back and a handful of bar type stools toward the front. The baristas are friendly and coffee is made quickly.

This Starbucks has completely turned around– all the new baristas are lovely and nothing like the old grouchy ones!

Nice quick spot for a Starbucks, its next to the Path — the park and somehow even with a line, it always goes fast. Plus I get my drink quickly.

I feel like every time I go there most of the staff are in a bad mood. And no matter how nice you are to them they are just not having it. And it really takes away from a place when the service is shit. But then there are the few who actually remember what you want and how to spell your name correctly and that makes me go back. This starbucks itself is cute and small. And the coffee actually comes out really good. So they know what they are doing. They just need to do it in a nicer way!

This Starbucks is conveniently located right on the very busy Hoboken corner. It’s normally always packed unless you come really early while everyone is still asleep. The service is always quick and I get my coffee right away. Not much tables here, but its expected in a busy location such as this one. I usually take my coffee to go.

Worst customer service ever should have stuck to my guns and just walked further to the other location as that is what I ended up doing anyway. The drinks that were made here were disgusting possibly made of toilet water. The other location on Washington street made me a new drink and apologized for the terrible experience.

This location is small and almost always has a long line. I’ll attribute that to the proximity to the path train. I think everyone stops here for their morning coffee. As usual they do have wifi, but they don’t have a lot Of seating. It isn’t a large location with room to get work done or meet a friend for coffee. The baristas I think are usually a bit slower here than other locations but are still pretty friendly. My biggest issue is the place is always a mess with Splenda, milk and sugar everywhere !! It’s kinda gross actually. I think it’s because the volume And they are a bit understaffed.

The coffee sells itself. The staff isn’t friendly. They gave me an attitude for no reason. I love Starbucks but I won’t be a returning customer to this branch!

This is a conveniently located starbucks, just a short walk from the path. The baristas here are very friendly and they are very fast! I’m never waiting too long for my drink and the line moves quickly. My only complaint is the awkward homeless people outside of the entrance. It makes me feel guilty, no I will not give you money so I can purchase a $ 5 latte

I was the only person there and the barista still managed to mess up my order. How is that even possible? But this is the cutest Starbucks I have ever been to & I’ve been to many of them in NYC, PA, AZ& even Seoul.

This Starbucks has never done me wrong. Conveniently located right on the corner, it’s always packed and I get coffee serviced right away. It’s always a tad bit dirty, but other than that, it’s a Starbucks. It’ gets the job done. Tip: Not a lot of seating and the seating that is available doesn’t look to cozy since the line basically takes up the whole space. I’d imagine a much better take out option than a stay in.

This is a pretty good Starbucks, although not nearly as good as the one down in Exchange Place. I find my orders here to be quick, always correct and with a smile. When it comes to my Starbucks experience, that’s really all I ask for. One thing about this Starbucks which stops it from being more then a three star stop is the lack of seating options. Quite frankly, I don’t want to sound like an elitist but if you have lots of work to do on your laptop, do it at home. I get if you want to hang out for a bit for a change of pace, but hogging the seats for hours where other patrons can’t enjoy their coffee just isn’t neighborly. I’d be much happier if Starbucks had some type of limit for seating. It doesn’t have to be 15 minutes or anything, but in a place like this with really limited seating… maybe 45 minutes?

This place ranks pretty low against other Starbucks. Slow workers and limited seating combine with the awkward line placement to ensure I make an effort to go to the Starbucks on 3rd and Wash instead. Whenever I find myself here I remember why I try to skip it. meh.

Coffee. Starbucks coffee. You know nothing can be different about the coffee. Seating area is limited. Some plugs.

For Hoboken, this Starbucks has a lot of room. However, not enough seats — two couches in the corner a few lounge chairs and then 4 – 5 bar stools along the windows. The personnel are friendly and helpful. It tends to be pretty clean and not too loud — considering where its located: a block away from the Hoboken train and bus terminal. Overall a good experience.

So yea not feeling these guys so much these days. Service and quality have both seemed to go down here. Today I ordered my usual triple grande, 3 pump vanilla, 3 pump caramel latte. When the guy called it out, he said«triple grande caramel brûlée latte». I said you said it’s caramel brûlée? And he says«yea»(very hurriedly, like he wasn’t even listening to the question, just giving me the response I wanted to hear). Then I said it’s supposed to be «3 pump caramel, 3 pump vanilla though». His response? «It is, it is.» This guy is seriously lucky that I’m completely beat and super late for work! Cause usually I’m bout that ‘getting the service and product I paid for’ life and will gladly cause a scene to make that happen. Anyway, it will be me and my Nespresso machine for awhile since I can’t have Mod Cup. Can’t believe they’ve deserted me like this! :(

Despite the busy location of this particular Starbucks, there wasn’t too many people here the day I walked in before going to work. Friendly staff, prompt service. My only peeve about this place is that they ask you for your name and when your order is done, they call out the order and not your name. My pumpkin spice latte could have went to anybody order the same thing. hmpf.
