History
Established in 1977.
In the early 1970’s, the village of Hockessin was primarily a farming community. Seeing the potential, the owner purchased an old hardware store that contained stone walled bins for grain and coal storage. In 1977, his wife opened a small gift shop in two sections of the six bay coal bins. Today, the store spills out into the second floor loft-where railcars were once winched up to dump the coal below. With over 15,000 square feet, Everything but The Kitchen Sink lives up to its name
