Community of Faith

This is a very casual, yet faithful Christian Bible-​based church. Everyone is SO nice and helpful. There are plenty of great volunteer opportunities, and fun activities for everyone. Their high school youth group is fantastic! My kids love it! The toddler groups are well-​managed and fun for my 2-​year old too. The parking is organized and problem-​free, despite the fact that it’s full every Sunday. My family and I are happy to have found a church wherein we feel at home and welcome to worship. The facility is beautiful, clean, and well-​maintained. There is free coffee set up at a large coffee station. The pastors are personable and spiritual, which is as good as it gets! VISIT COMMUNITY OF FAITH CHURCH and make it your home. You won’t be disappointed.

We love COF! Also, everyone we’ve invited to COF has loved it and come back as well. I moved to Richmond/​Rosenberg in late 2011 and it took my family several months and trips to so many different churches before we finally found our church home. Then we moved. We had to start all over again in Cypress. We thought for sure we wouldn’t be able to find another church that everyone in our family would love as much as our last church, until we found COF.
Our first visit, my husband and I anxiously waited for service to be over to find out if our kiddos loved it as much as we did! And they did! Yesss! We decided not to jump the gun and wait until we visited again before we made the decision to call this our church home. The second visit did it though.
Pastor Mark (coincidentally the same name as our last Pastor) is so easy to follow and humorous but really knows how to bring home the message. They’ve had several other guest speakers that also delivered great messages. The staff/​volunteers overall are very friendly and welcoming, despite the large size of the campus.
This church has so many opportunities to volunteer and work with not just the local communities, but also globally.
The kids love their middle school class and have also started volunteering with the younger kids. Two of them are moving to high school this week, but I’m sure they’ll love it still.

Relaxed atmosphere. I love worship and the messages here. Guest Pastor Timothy Ateek is amazing. I loved his style of teaching.
I do a quick happy dance in my head when I see his name as Speaker!!!

Many know I have a 30 minute daily drive limit and once we moved to Richmond/​Sugarland in August we attempted to find a new church home– but were unsuccessful each time… this really makes you appreciate the church family you’ve grown accustomed to after so long! So happy to be going back! The Shook’s are amazing, my Café co-​workers are amazing the connections are priceless! The best thing is you learn and apply the messages the God streams through all! Oh and my kids they don’t want to be anywhere else! Sport programs, summer programs, educational programs!

An awesome Pastor and church. I moved to Texas from California and was hoping I could find a church that felt like home. I found it! Everyone made me feel comfortable, it’s beautiful inside and out and the services are awesome!

i’ve never really reviewed a church before, so we’ll see how this goes.
i’m pretty new to the area but have been attending church my whole life. i’ve checked out a bunch of churches so i had a good idea of what i was looking for in a church. community of faith is definitely an awesome church. they focus a lot on people who have never been to church or haven’t been to church in a while. it’s a very non-​intimidating place to attend if you’ve never been before.
although i don’t have kids, i got to check out the children’s ministry and they do a great job of getting to know each child. i would feel very safe with dropping my kids off with the staff and volunteers here.
the messages are entertaining and very applicable. there’s something of value in each message whether it’s your first time or you’ve been attending church your whole life, like me.
i know that volunteers make the church run well and this place has fantastic volunteers! they are very genuine and excited to be there and to serve you.
they are very involved with missions, both international and local. it’s not hard to get involved with a mission trip or a service project in houston if that’s what you’re interested in. in addition to that, they’re very generous with their money. i don’t know of many churches that give as much as this church does. it’s really cool to see that in a church especially with a lot of reports on churches who aren’t being so smart with their money.
i would HIGHLY recommend this place to someone who’s looking for a church. and i assume if you’re checking out churches on Unilocal,then you’re probably debating which one to try out. this may or may not be the church for you, but i know 1) you’ll be challenged 2) you’ll have a great time 3) your kids will be safe (these aren’t in order) and 4) you won’t feel super awkward (i can’t do anything about your own personal awkwardness). it’s worth a shot. there are not a lot of churches like this one.

The service is simple and easy to follow. The campus is beautiful and the children’s ministry is wonderful. The pastor is laid back and full of laughs. The worship is awesome if you enjoy contemporary worship. I have been here for 4 services and the pastor has his wife on stage with him but I have been told that this is only for this series. The services have been very simple. Bible 101 if you will. A person with a mature spiritual walk with Christ, beware. Overall the church is fun and fresh.
